“Hotel Maria Isabel in Ataco was such a cute, cozy family-owned stay. The hotel was small, peaceful, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. Our room and bathroom were both very clean, which we really appreciated. There was no AC and unfortunately the fan in our room didn’t work, so we had to keep the windows open at night. “The hotel was beautiful. The food was great and the location of the hotel makes it very peaceful. I would just train the wait staff a bit more we were waiting a long time to have our orders taken and than we wanted to order dessert but it toke too long. Even to get our check we had to ask three people”

“We stayed here after hiking the Santa Ana Volcano. We were able to use the thermal pools for our aching bodies and got a massage a the spa. The food was not great but the service was good. Crazy roads leading up to the hotel as well. Otherwise the staff was very accommodating and the pools were great.”
