Cabina accogliente con vista sul bellissimo lago Cuyamaca
 Venite a godervi un po 'della bellezza dimenticata di San Diego in questa splendida baita di montagna Piute Trail con vista sul lago Cuyamaca ea pochi minuti dalla pittoresca cittadina di Julian. Durante il tuo soggiorno, avrai la possibilità di vedere i cervi selvaggi che pascolano nei pascoli vicini sotto, il tacchino selvatico che foraggia su e giù per la collina (a volte visitano persino il ponte!), il procione sta entrando nella solita malvagità, le aquile calve che volano sopra o si tuffano per un pasto veloce, gufi, oriole, ghiandaie, anatre e oche migratori, picchi ... e l'elenco continua! Se ti piace il birdwatching e / o la fotografia, questo è un ottimo posto per entrambi! Usando la cabina come campo base, potrai esplorare Cuyamaca Rancho State Park e Cleveland National Forest, Anza-Borrego State Park con i loro numerosi sentieri e punti panoramici; pesce per spigola della Florida, spigola, trota, crappie, bluegill, pesce gatto di canale e persino storione bianco (Sì, il nostro lago ha storione!); picnic sull'isola di Fletcher; andare in barca; o semplicemente ammirare l'ambiente tranquillo e le ampie viste dalla comodità della cabina accogliente! Aperto tutto l'anno, compresi i mesi invernali innevati in cui è possibile sfruttare la slitta locale e il terreno per lo snowboard. Disponibile solo su prenotazione, quindi pianifica in anticipo! The cabin is cozy with a great view of the lake. In the early morning you can see wild turkey and deer. Easy walk to the lake and the trails nearby. A great cabin that is ideal for a family weekend.

Absolutely beautiful view! We spent two nights and would happily do the trip again. The front deck alone was worth it. We had a gentle breeze and warm days that made sitting on the front porch really pleasant. Great trip.

We loved the location for its view and access to the lake but also really appreciated the spaciousness of the room sizes and that it had extra cots in case anyone needed their own bed. Would 100 percent like to stay again!

This was our 2nd stay at this property. The only issue encountered is the fireplace was not cleaned on both our stays, so upon entering the cabin it had a heavy ash smell. We would’ve enjoyed a nice nighttime fire as the nights were cold. Other than that, it’s a nice, comfortable cabin.

We are a repeat customer, although we've never stayed when the weather is warmer. I am happy to report that the AC works great. Also happy to report that we didn't need it because there is such a great breeze up here. Another fantastic stay at the lake!

We go to this spot a few times a year to get away, and it’s our favorite. It’s great for proximity to Lake Cuyamaca and we typically see wildlife right out the living room window.The wrap around deck adds extra space & is nice to sit and drink your coffee or have a meal outside.We eat most of our meals in, so having a well stocked kitchen is important. There’s plenty of cookware, and I’ve never had a problem finding what I need to cook a meal.Overall, the space is perfect for our family of 4. We’ve made good memories here!

The house was clean and had all the basics. Decor was pretty outdated and nothing more than the basics provided, but it was comfortable and the view of the lake was amazing. We failed to check the weather before arriving so we were surprised to have rain, hail and snow this late in March, but it was fun for the kids. We just didnt get to do as much fishing as we'd hoped. Make sure to bring your own coffee, toiletries, ziploc bags, chip clips, etc. Many rentals weve stayed at recently have provided these extras, so its hard to know what to expect.

This is our second stay here at the Piute Trail lodge, and it never disappoints us. The cabin is clean and cozy. The wrap around deck offer beautiful views of lake Cuyamaca, there many opportunities for fishing and great places to hike. We also love that our dogs are always welcome here too.

Unfortunately, there were very high winds so the power company had to shut off the power to the area. We were informed ahead of time and given the option to reschedule, which we declined. They ran a power cord from their generator to the cabin to the heater so we could have a heat source other than the fireplace. As usual, they were very accommodating and the best hosts, ever! Looking forward to coming back for Thanksgiving!!I couldn't believe it, we had 14 turkeys in the front, about 40 various black birds at the feeder we brought with us, and 7 deer walked through the property. Scrub and Steller's Jays, chickadees, and more. We had a wonderful time!

This is my second time staying at this property and I can't wait to book it again. It's so quiet and peaceful and really convenient for hiking in both Laguna and Julian. The view is just beautiful. It feels like my home away from home.
