We took a chance on renting this property since it had a premier host rating but no reviews and we are glad we did. The house was just as described and the views are unparalled. It’s light, bright and airy. Having never been to Juneau, this is a great choice for people who don’t want to be in the madness of all the cruise ship foot traffic. It is a short drive to great coffee if you don’t want to make it yourself in the house. And the island also has a couple restaurants where the locals go. The house has three levels. You walk in on the middle (2nd) level which has the kitchen, dining area, half bath, sunken living room, and an upper deck. The 3rd level has the primary suite and the dedicated workspaces which would indeed be an amazing place to work remote. The lower level (1st) has the other two bedrooms, full bath and a shower/jacuzzi tub combo, another nice sized sitting area, the laundry, and a home gym. This level also has a large covered deck. We only had 3 people in our party so it was quite spacious for what we needed. We are also mobile people so the multiple levels and stairs were of no concern for us. The neighborhood is quiet and everyone was friendly. The hosts also provide a link to a comprehensive guidebook. So if you have any questions once you book the property, check the guidebook first. It’s likely the answer is already there. We’d definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Juneau.
