Luxury Houseboat `Surla CopesClub`- Winter Lodge at Kaag near Brasserie Milo

A Surla Houseboat is a sailing summer residence. Our water villas are fully equipped, 100% ecological and self-sufficient. Luxury, comfort and respect for nature come together here. From April/May untill October the houseboat is docked on open water. This houseboat (built in `22) is fully equipped. We`d love to welcome you as guests on our Surla houseboat to create beautiful memories with this unique experience.

The Surla Houseboat is 15 meters long and 6 meters wide. A total area of ​​84m2 excluding the roof terrace. The living room and kitchen are 25m2, and equipped with 3 large sliding doors, so you always have a phenomenal view over the water.

There is a spacious living room with a couch, dining table, tv, pellet stove and sliding doors to the front terrace with outdoor chairs. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with an induction cooker, fridge, oven, dishwasher, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. There`s also a table-top freezer in the utility room. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink and a (dry) toilet. There are 3 bedrooms on the houseboat. Two bedrooms with hotel beds (1.80 x 2.00m), especially designed for Surla Houseboats. The third bedroom has a bunk bed (0.90 x 2.00m). Via outside stairs you can go to the spacious rooftop terrace (24m2) where there is a lounge set to enjoy beautifull sunrises and sunsets. Last but not least: on the back terrace is a warm outdoor shower, great after a swim.

Our Houseboats are built sustainably and are 100% self-sufficient.
We have ingenious systems on board that allow you to recreate without going on shore power, and we also have filter systems that mean we don`t have to have water tanks on board.
We are guests on the water and have done everything possible to implement 100% off-grid and ecologically responsible solutions.

Guests have the entire houseboat to themselves.
We don`t let our guests sail with the Surla houseboat themselves, but a dinghy is included in the rent. Sail at walking pace with the dinghy, we are guests on the water. Drinking alcohol is prohibited when sailing the dinghy. Any fines are for your own account. No parties allowed. Minimum age is 21.

Surla has check-in hosts available at various locations. These hosts will welcome you and guide you to the houseboat. It is nice for our hosts that you indicate early what your expected arrival time is. You will receive the host`s telephone number in the instructions. You will receive this via email a week before arrival.

Before arrival:
The check-in time is between 15.00 and 18.00pm. Earlier check-in is not possible due to cleaning of the houseboat.

10 days before arrival we will send a guide with all the information and also the meeting point with the host. Our Surla host Tanja will meet you there and bring you with the dinghy to the houseboat.
Please inform the host your expected arrival time. This host is also available during your stay for questions or emergencies.

Surla Tender (Dinghy):
During your stay we provide an dinghy.
This aluminum tender is included during the rental of the houseboat.
It is important that you start the tender with the trottle in Neutral. Please lock the tender when you are not using it. Also at night!

Sail slowly! Place the tender at the front or back of the houseboat. Gently moor so that there is no damage to the houseboat or tender.
We will charge for damage immediately.

The tender is fully fueled upon your arrival. The request is to fill it up again before checking out (Gasoline 98), so that the next guests also have a full tank.
You can also put the amount on the table in cash: 40 euros for an empty tank and 20 euros for half a tank. If the tender has not been refueled and no money has been left behind on departure, we will charge the costs afterwards.

NOTE:
Surla rents out several houseboats at different locations. It is possible that the location, the floorplan of the houseboat and the interior in the photos differs from the actual houseboat. All our houseboats were built in 2022-2024.

The houseboat is not suitable for small children. Swimming certificates are highly recommended. We will not recommend the houseboat for people with walking difficulties.

We advise you to do necessary shopping before boarding.
1) Check-in / Check-out: Check-in is after 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM.

2) Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please keep indoor and outdoor noise to a minimum during these hours.

3) No Parties or Events: Our home is suitable for relaxing stays only. Unregistered guests are not permitted on the property without prior approval.

4) Non-Smoking: Smoking, vaping, or using e-cigarettes inside is strictly prohibited.

5) Care & Safety: Please turn off heating/cooling units and lock all doors and windows whenever you leave the property.

6) Trash & Cleanliness: Please place bagged rubbish in the outdoor bins provided before departure and wash any used dishes.

7) Damage Reporting: Accidents happen—please let us know right away if anything breaks so we can fix or replace it quickly.
