The Space:
Aloha, and welcome to Mahina Surf #112—Maui’s best-kept secret.
Breathe in the ocean air, listen to the waves and tropical birds, and take in stunning sunsets, rainbows, sea turtles, and seasonal whales as your stress melts away. From your private lanai, enjoy beautiful ocean views, cool trade winds, and the peaceful rhythm of the shoreline.
Perfectly located on Maui’s west side, you’re just minutes from top dining, shopping, and activities. Kaʻanapali Beach is a short drive south, with Kapalua and Napili just to the north.
Our one-bedroom, one-bath condo is a true “piece of paradise,” featuring an updated bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower, a comfortable bedroom with a queen pillow-top mattress, and a queen sleeper sofa to accommodate up to four guests. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to feel right at home.
Step outside to your lanai to watch whales in the winter or spot sea turtles along the shoreline. The beautifully renovated property offers lush tropical grounds and an oceanfront pool with unobstructed views of Lānaʻi and Molokaʻi—capturing the charm of “Old Hawaii” in a peaceful, boutique setting.

Loved the view from the home. It was a fully stocked kitchen, easy to make food. Great vacation home. The small walk to the right side of the beach were sea turtles.

The condo was very clean, equipped with everything you need and the view is spectacular. Plus, close to the beach turtles come to sleep. I definitely recommend this place.

Amazing view of ocean!!
Love the sound of waves crashing right from our lanai!! It was convenient to sand/surf beaches and restaurants! Weather is always perfect! This was everything we wanted!!

The pool is sparkling clean warm and inviting. Rooms are big roomy and breezy. Fully accommodating living and kitchen area. BBQ area is great especially at sunset with the water and turtles swimming by. Great vibe overall. Rooms 112&113 are a for sure choice.

Like the title when we booked, charming condo!
Beautiful condo overlooking the ocean, has grills and a pool to swim, and a nice spot to check out the sea turtles hanging out, oh and you might catch a whale here and there jumping in the mornings!! Absolutely recommend this condo! My wife and I loved it!!!

Overall, we had a nice stay. Minuses: some noise between the bedroom windows being right up against parking and listening to kids screaming at the pool while trying to have a peaceful breakfast. Plusses (many): direct ocean view, watching sea turtles on the beach, convenience to Napili and Kaanapali, full kitchen, and having breakfast on our patio, fans to cool off (no a/c)
I would come back.

Relaxing
I enjoy this resort. It is quiet and relaxing.
I was happy with the condo. The bed was comfortable. I liked the view. I was able to watch the whales right from the lanai. Love the turtles.
The only thing I could suggest is adding a can opener and some pot holders to the kitchen.

My favorite location
The apartment, the turtles right next door. The friendly fellow tourists in the other units, what’s not to love! One thing to keep in mind is that the unit is on the first floor and you might hear some parking lot noise from the bedroom, but if that doesn’t bother you this is a great location, a short distance north of kaanapali and south of napili beaches

Lovely stay at Mahina Surf 112
We really enjoyed our stay in #112. The condo is nicely furnished and comfortable. The kitchen is updated and well stocked. The property is very well kept and the view is amazing. The pool overlooking the ocean and the BBQ's were very well maintained. The office staff were very helpful and always pleasant. There is a small beach near the property but overall entrance to the ocean is a little rough. There are beaches only minutes away in either direction though with easier entrances to the ocean.
Overall it is an older property and more quiet then the big resort area.
If that is what you are looking for you can't go wrong here.

The turtles sunning everyday on the beach was a awesome delight. The rental unit need some help. No kitchen hand towels or bath mat. The smoke alarms are seriously out dated.The fans needed to cool down at night make noise when run on high. The noise level from road and parking lot in bedroom at night makes it impossible to sleep with windows open. dated.The three year old running laps in the upstairs unit from 6am to 8pm everyday was real annoying. The BBQ was anything but conveniently located. After 5 trips to different islands of Hawaii this is not a condo i would recommend.
