Kahaluu Beach Holmes è una fantastica proprietà in affitto per vacanze con una vista spettacolare! Siamo situati a soli 300 piedi dalla spiaggia di Kahaluu, una delle principali spiagge per lo snorkeling dell'isola. La nostra casa offre viste impareggiabili sulla spiaggia e una vista panoramica sull'Oceano Pacifico dal nostro grande lanais. Offriamo 4400 piedi quadrati di spazio vitale su due livelli e possiamo ospitare comodamente 14 persone.

I due piani superiori della casa di 3 piani, che sono circa 2200 piedi quadrati ciascuno. Entrambi hanno due camere matrimoniali / due bagni, una cucina arredata full size, un ampio soggiorno e un lanai privato con splendide viste sull'oceano. Per gruppi più grandi ogni livello ha un comodo futon queen size con un materasso "reale", un divano letto queen size, il 2 ° piano ha un ulteriore letto Murphy queen size. Ciò consente letti per 16 e l'ultimo ottiene un divano letto!

Ogni piano ha un ingresso privato e una comoda scala interna su due livelli che li unisce.

La casa è completamente arredata, c'è un ottimo parcheggio fuori strada, lavanderia, WIFI, via cavo e la vista dall'ultimo piano è ineguagliata. Senza dubbio una delle migliori case vacanze della zona.

Siamo situati a 300 piedi (una facile passeggiata lungo il vialetto) dalla spiaggia di Kahaluu! Indubbiamente uno dei migliori spot per lo snorkeling sulla Big Island. Alimentato da una sorgente di acqua dolce, fino a 10 milioni di galloni al giorno. Queste acque sono quasi sempre calme, con coralli colorati, formazioni rocciose e oltre 100 specie di pesci. Nuota con enormi banchi di pesci colorati e tartarughe verdi in queste acque protette; non dimenticare la tua macchina fotografica subacquea!

L'estremità nord della spiaggia è dove si infrangono le onde ed è la cosa migliore per il bodyboard e il surf. Gli istruttori di surf locali danno lezioni lì su base regolare. Kahaluu è molto amato per le acque calme e protette, perfette per famiglie e bambini e per chi cerca avventurosamente le onde. Alberi ombrosi circondano questa bellissima spiaggia sabbiosa. I servizi includono un padiglione, bagni, docce, una torre del bagnino. Stand di concessione, scuola di surf e noleggio attrezzatura da spiaggia.

This home was perfect for our informal family group of 4 adults and 3 kids. The location could not have been better for surfing, snorkeling and convenience. The host and on-location manager were very responsive and helpful prior to and during our stay. The plentiful deck space was well used for morning coffee, watching the kids surf, outdoor dining, game nights and drying out all those bathing suits and towels. We definitely would stay here again!

Great: Fantastic location across from the snorkel beach and easy access to magic sands and downtown Kona.Beautiful views from the lanai and plenty of seating on both balconies and in living rooms. The house layout was perfect for our family of ten with king beds in the four bedrooms, two pull out couches downstairs and one pull out couch upstairs. The downstairs neighbor (and whomever came to feed the cats downstairs) was very kind and shared knowledge of beaches and places to go around the island. Average: There were exactly 10 ten bath towels and exactly 10 beach towels. It was enough since we had 10 people, but don’t expect to have extra if you need to clean something up or use a hair towel (ladies). Same for bedding. As others mentioned, the lack of AC was expected. There was one fan per room so we did shuffling around the house when we were in common spaces and before bed. It worked out, but more would have been better. Overall it was clean, not excellent, but clean. Needs work:The host doesn’t check the vrbo message center. It would be hours or days before a response and it would come in a private text message with reminder to text privately. I ended up just adding the texts to the message center for vrbo records. Overall a great, economical option for a large family. We had a wonderful week in a gorgeous place.

Loved the location, across from great snorkeling. I think I expected the home to be a bit nicer, considering the price. The two floors are identical, which feels a little less nice?

Incredible Vacation Destination

This rental unit could not have been more perfect for our group. It was roomy enough to fit our group of 9 and not feel cramped at all. Very well appointed as we prepared most of our meals at the house. The views from the lanai's are spectacular, especially the sunsets. The snorkeling across the street at Kahalu'u Beach Park was the best of all the places we swam. The house is conveniently located with easy access to several markets and grocery stores.The owners were wonderful to work with. We had a Tsunami warning while there and Cheryl was on top of it. She helped us with where to go and what to do and how to be safe when it hit. Very Very grateful for the communications during the crisis and for the whole stay in general.We had a wonderful trip, would rent this unit again and would recommend it to anyone and everyone. This experience is the epitome of what a VRBO rental should be. Can't say enough great things about our experience here.

Breathtaking View!

This property is just as described in the listing. It is clean, private and has all the necessary items you need for cooking meals and enjoying your time on Hawaii. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The cherry on top is Kahalu’u beach which is directly in front of the house. Morning snorkeling was the best! We will definitely return!

Great location

This was a great location! Right across from a great snorkel spot. The unit had some gear to borrow but we ended up renting some better gear. The view from the top balcony was amazing, beautiful views of the water, the morning rainbows and loads of birds in the area. Parking was sufficient, the driveways are all tight here but our large car had no issues. Great host! She was super communicative and nice :)

Great location, dated accommodation.

You stay here because of the location. Being a short walk away from some excellent snorkeling and beautiful views are the standouts of this Vrbo. It is also a short drive to downtown Kona and to a nearby shopping area with a grocery store. The accommodation itself is dated and would be surprised if it was ever updated and there are aspects of the house the need a refresh especially considering the price point of the home. Furthermore given the 400 cleaning fee I would expect the home to be spotless upon arrival but it was not. If you are looking for a pleasant and simple place near a prime snorkeling spot this is your place. But its cost point and lackluster accommodation quality would have me looking at other options in the future.

Excellent way to stay on the big Island.

It would be impossible to find a better location. Snorkeling beach is directly across the street. Easy drive to town, the airport, and other interesting places. And a nice home with king sized beds and 4 bathrooms! Everything you need!

The perfect stay

Great for a family vacation

Our family of 8 stayed in the top two floors of the home, which is just a long driveway from Ali'i Drive, and then across the street to Kahulu'u Beach. It worked out very well for us! A kitchen, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms on each floor plus boogie boards and water shoes to share. There are several homes along the driveway, ruins of an old heiau on Ali'i, and snorkeling at the beach. A relaxed place to spend a week!

What a great place to stay! Had a great time!

there were nine of us, ages 10 to 67, we all enjoyed the house. It was very comfortable and well maintained. The view from the lanai was incredible. The location was perfect, we'd walk to beach and snorkle. Close to shopping, night life and harbor.

Great stay close to the beach

Group of 7 adults. We had a great stay at this place. Home is clean, spacious, has everything you need but you need to bring your own toiletries. Short drive to town, great snorkeling beach right across the street and amazing views from the balconies. Host was responsive and helpful. Would recommend and stay again. Thank you!

Great view & location, but a few cons I wish I knew before booking:

This house has an incredible view and location. It’s so great to be able to walk down the driveway and be at an incredible snorkeling beach. It is also a good size and layout for multi-generational families traveling together. There are a few cons I would have liked to have known prior to booking. The house is worn out, some of the furniture is broken and sinking (the owner notified me 2 days after checking in that the futon was broken and not to use it), the dishes are chipped, and the landing to the front door is a serious liability that is about to fall through. Secondly, the owner watches you on their outdoor camera in the yard. I was contacted on day 2 of my 7 day stay and asked to not sit on the outdoor patio set at the bottom of the stairs, this set is right in the middle of the space we are “allowed” to use. There is no sign or note in the thorough house rules book that states this. Lastly, you pay a cleaning fee but are still expected to do your dishes, take out the trash and put the dirty laundry in the laundry baskets. On top of that, we had to wash all the dishes prior to using because they were put away in the cupboards dirty!
