Great Oceanfront!

We enjoyed the condo location right on the ocean, watching the waves and dolphins from the 2 lanais. A/C wasn’t needed with the ocean breeze and fans. The condo was pretty well equipped, except there were no beach towels or decent beach chairs. There were no check out instructions so not clear what was expected with bedding and laundry.Overall a great place and would definitely be back!

Complex was great, views from unit were awesome, unit is in serious need of updating.

The complex was great. Clean, quiet, in a great location, plenty of parking. The pool was fine, too. The unit, itself, though, leaves quite a bit to be desired. Nothing has been updated, save for a couple of poorly painted walls, since the unit was built. Few windows operate correctly, the ceiling fans are mostly worthless (there were much needed floor fans in each bedroom.) There is a washer/dryer in the unit which was quite handy. I'd stay in the complex again, but I wouldn't stay in this unit. Nor, would I recommend it. There wasn't a binder available, like you see in most rentals. No local beach, activity, or food recommendations, nothing about what to do with the trash, checkout procedures, etctera.

Great location

The location was perfect and convenient. Super easy check-in/check-out. The unit was very simple but had everything we needed, so if you’re “high maintenance” stay somewhere else. It’s dated, which didn’t bother us at all. We weren’t there to sit in the room all day. It gets a little warm in the afternoon but once the sun sets it’s nice…the owner, Michael is very responsive with a phone call…he doesn’t text so make sure to call. Had a great stay. Would definitely stay again.

On the ocean

I wanted to wake up and fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean, and have a clear view of the sun setting on the horizon from my balcony/lanai every night. The community pool and hot tub outside my doorstep. An accessible grill to prepare foods, so we could enjoy dinner on the balcony. This place couldn’t be more perfect. We also enjoyed short drives to local beaches - the unit had a beach chair, small beach umbrella, and 3 boogie boards, plus a cooler; snorkeling off the rocks directly outside the townhome; a long day at Volcano National Park driving along the southern edge of the island so we could stop at Black Sand Beach; and several trips into town for local history (the palace), shopping, Hawaiian ice, and Kona Brewery. I was a bit concerned to not have air conditioning in July, but with a high in the low 80’s, a mix of overcast and sun, fans, and a pool our family was fine. Plus no AC meant listening to waves. The property is dated (older style cabinets), but has the tools you need to cook and grill, dishwasher, etc. and washer/dryer. An excellent stay.

Excellent stay

The location of this rental is perfect! The unit itself was clean and described perfectly in the listing. I agree with others that it could use some updating, but it didn't bother us and we would much prefer a clean unit with a perfect location. We had excellent communication with our host and had no concerns while we were there. Would definitely stay here again!

Location Location

This is our second stay at this unit in Sea Village. We love the fact that we are OCEANFRONT in every sense. The master bedroom has a balcony out to the ocean and you can watch the ocean and horizon from the bed! We launch our paddleboards from the lava rocks and enjoy a sunset paddle every night. The unit is perfect for what we need, I would add some more comfy lanai chairs, but otherwise its good.

Incredible view

Cleanliness was an issue - we had to wash every dish and utensil we used. Perhaps the fault of the people who were before us. The view was awesome and we loved falling to sleep to the ocean waves. Loved having two balconies also. Although it was definitely rundown and needed a face lift - and several things needed fixing - we certainly recommend this place and hope to return one day.

Great stay in Kona

This is a wonderful spot - the views of the ocean from nearly every window are amazing - it was clean had all needed and more from complete kitchen to beach supplies -The washer and dryer were great just as you come in the door no wet swim suits dripping all over - As you walk in the door in front of you is the ocean - What a way to come "home".For those who like pools and hot tubs these are located fenced in but literally just down the stairs (few) from your front door .The master bedroom also has an oceanview as well as lanai right over the sea.This place is great we will be back just trying to figure out when

Family holiday

This place was a great place. The view is amazing. If you want to listen to the waves. This is your place… Location is great not far from the restaurant and shopping. Easy to find and get around. Nice and close to the pool you can check out to see if busy or not. Lots of room for the 4 of us. Has a hide a bed which came in handy.

Can’t wait to come back!

I am so glad that I chose this beautiful property for our first family vacation to Hawaii. Every night the ocean lulled us to sleep, we didn’t need to plug in our sound machine! Every morning we ate breakfast with ocean views all around us! On the hottest days having no AC was a little uncomfortable during the day, but the fans did a wonderful job keeping us cool at night. Our kids loved the plethora of beach equipment! The location could not have been any better and I am so sad as I write this review that I am back home and at work… not in paradise!

Perfect location

This was a short driving distance from all of our activities and from the beach. The ocean view was gorgeous with 2 big balconies to watch the waves. The kids loved all the beach supplies, and how it was right next door to the pool. I'd definitely recommend this place to any family with small or teenage kids

Ocean FRONT and center

We booked this unit for the ocean front location. Its not easy to find a unit with the bedroom also ocean front with a lanai. Star gazing at midnight ....... absolute zen. This unit, townhouse style, was perfect. It is all about the water for us and being steps from launching my SUP into the ocean for a sunset paddle, or enjoying the dolphins cruising by during morning coffee, it was priceless. Are the interior and furnishings older, yes. But that isn't why we booked it. The bed was really comfortable, the toy closet had a huge selection of beach things, the towels were soft, washer/dryer newer and efficient, the lanais were positioned perfectly for just sitting and chilling, and if needed we had high speed internet. The kitchen was well stocked, but bring ziplocks if you bring/buy crackers, cereal, or pancake mix and do not want to put it in the fridge. Ants are always an issue in Hawaii. We had a fantastic time, go to Kua Beach for close fun waves, and go see the turtles at Kiholo Beach. Alula Beach by the harbor is a great place if you have littles. Jackie Reys, Ultimate Burger, Ola Brewery, Pactricios Tacquiera, and Habenaro's. And if you are venturing out the Fish and Hog in Waimea is GREAT! go for lunch because they sell out of some BBQ meats by dinner.

Beautiful Views - Tired and Not Super (Young) Kid Friendly

The condo has incredible views from both lanais - great place to watch the sunset. However it is tired - especially the bathrooms, smaller bedroom, and master bedroom closet. Carpet in master bedroom worn down to the floor, boxspring in smaller bedroom was torn and shedding. All the cupboards and drawers are full of stuff - including some potentially hazardous items for young kids. Amenities were lacking too - no dish soap and hand soaps in both bathrooms were almost empty when we arrived and ran out before we left. A lot of perishable items were left in the refrigerator and toaster didn't work.

Unit 3113 - The Sea Village

We love The Sea Village! The location is amazing and the pool and BBQ areas are perfect. This unit has the absolute best view of any we’ve stayed in at this property! The master bedroom/lanai was a piece of Heaven! Such a beautiful view and sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks. The unit itself needs some updating, it’s a little worn and tired. We would definitely stay here again!

A little disapointing

The main picture of the property is taken by the pool and doesn’t represent the unit clearly. Inside, the unit is a bit worn and needed updating. A few of the windows would not open for a cross breeze, and the heat was a challenge. The living room ceiling fan would not adjust beyond the lowest setting so we purchased a couple box fans to try and cool the unit down. The upside is a western facing unit just feet from the water. Sunsets were gorgeous. Snorkling off the unit was also enjoyable. The owner had a closet full of beach chairs, snorkeling equipment and cooler. All very convient for the vacationers..

Beautiful setting! Right on ocean and fell asleep to the sounds of the waves.

The location is excellent, walkable into town for dinner or shopping. Pool is steps away from the condo. It has everything you need in terms of dishes and pans for cooking - blender, coffee pot and grinder for Kona coffee. It could use some updating and though there are ceiling fans, it got pretty hot inside, but the location and sunsets made it worthwhile. We were out most of the days and kept all the windows open to sleep, so it worked well. We loved it!!
