“Though the hotel did not have other sorts of amenities, they do provide the basics. There's no elevator but it's alright as it is an old building. Staff were very accommodating, parking wasn't far from the hotel anyway and overall our experience there was good.”

“We had a quick stay at this hotel due to business - site visit at Tg Bin Power Plant. We have no clue about the hotel and randomly make the decision after long journey from KL to Pasir Gudang before reached Pontian in the evening. The hotel location was great - near to amenities, banks and eatery places. The room is clean, neat and comfort for our 1 day stay. ”

“Located inside the labyrinth that was originally a fishing village built out over the water, but now has many home stays catering to tourists. We arrived on a Thursday and were the only people there for that night and were told it was quieter with the lack of Singaporean tourist due to border closure. By Friday night we noticed a lot more tourists in the area as well as at the home stay we were in. Xiang Holiday Home was perfect for us - at the furtherest extreme of the village with lovely ocean...

“Enjoyed the free boat ride to and return from the chalet as it is situated at truly the final end of the village from the jetty. The room condition was okay, good enough for a decent stay by four persons. WiFi was not existed so you have to rely on your own data but the signal was a bit weak. Overall, worth a stay.”

“Very happy with the cleanliness of the room n bed. Room not the biggest but has everything needed; body form n shampoo, mineral water. Water pressure is good n aircon cold. Even has a hot/cold water dispenser n iron & board along the corridor. A big plus is that car park is in a gated area. Many eateries around the hotel. Reception is available till 9pm. Will stay again if around the area.”

“No complaints at all. A smallish room but had all the amenities in good working condition and clean. Also quiet. We took the room with a window. The window faced the main street but because of double layer of windows , the street sounds did not come through at all. Very happy that the stay was comfortable and most importantly clean. ”

“They make effort to keep it clean and service was excellent. Unfortunately, May be due to low take up rate, towel have yellow moulds, spider seen under bed shelves. Room has no window for light could be reason for musty smell when check in initially. Overall, decent to stay.”

“Rooms was nice-looking and relatively clean albeit small. There is no table or chair. There was car honking constantly at night and aircon was noisy and has bright LED that is distracting. “Everything is brand new so there were no problems. The room and its bathroom are very clean. But if I decide to stay there again, I will request for a room that is not facing the main road as it gets noisy at night, could not sleep well at night with the cars noises. Another complaint is one of the staff at the front desk was not that friendly, did not greet properly, I don't remember his name but he should treat his visitors equally regardless our races or our religious beliefs.”
