Benvenuto nella nostra Ohana. Ohana in hawaiano significa famiglia. Quando stai con noi, sei una famiglia. L'unica cosa che devi fare è prenotare il tuo biglietto, noleggiare l'auto e arrivare qui. Con i condizionatori d'aria appena installati rimarrai fresco tutto l'anno.

Puako è una comunità pittoresca e appartata. Mentre oltrepassi la chiesa di Hokuloa del 1852, ti sentirai immediatamente come se fossi tornato indietro in un momento più rilassato nella vecchia Hawaii. Tranquillo e lontano dalla calca dei turisti, ci sono solo 160 case lungo le due miglia di Puako Beach Drive. La nostra unità è uno dei migliori situati dei 38 condomini a Puako, con una posizione al piano terra e un grande lanai lato privato (con sala da pranzo all'aperto e un barbecue). Circondato da una vegetazione lussureggiante e alberi da frutto, sei a pochi passi da una bellissima e tranquilla spiaggia sabbiosa.

La nostra unità ha 2 belle verande (frontale e laterale) e molte finestre a persiana che incoraggiano una brezza trasversale la sera, naturalmente raffreddando lo spazio (e anche i ventilatori a soffitto in ogni stanza aiutano). La cucina e i bagni sono stati completamente ristrutturati nel giugno 2014. Sono completamente riforniti di tutto il necessario per sentirsi a casa e immergersi nel riposo e nel relax dello spirito di aloha. Un posto auto riservato è situato proprio di fronte all'unità. A / C è disponibile.

L'attrazione principale: la SPIAGGIA - proprio dall'altra parte della strada. È perfetto per lo snorkeling e ospita molte honu (tartarughe marine). Svegliati all'alba su Mauna Kea e guarda le tartarughe che si espongono al sole sugli scogli. A soli 200 metri a piedi dalla tua porta d'ingresso. E, nello stesso punto, è il miglior tramonto sull'isola. È magico. La barriera corallina di Puako è anche riconosciuta come una delle migliori zone subacquee di tutte le Hawaii. Stand-Up Paddleboards e kayak sono disponibili in affitto nelle vicinanze.

Nelle vicinanze è Beach 69, uno dei nostri preferiti. Ottimo per nuotare, fare snorkeling e surf se il tempo è giusto. Appena passato Beach 69 è Hapuna Beach, nominato Best Beach in America nel 1993. E puoi raggiungerlo da Puako senza dover salire sull'autostrada! Più avanti la strada è il Mauna Kea Resort. Raggiungi il cancello di sicurezza e chiedi un pass per la spiaggia. Quindi imposta il tuo posto e vai al bar sulla spiaggia per uno dei migliori Mai Tai dell'isola. O giocare a golf o tennis a Mauna Kea, l'Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel, o il Mauna Lani Resort. Tutto situato a pochi minuti dal condominio.
Avventure oceaniche (osservazione di balene, nuotare con i delfini selvaggi e snorkeling con manta) sono disponibili dalla Puako Boat Ramp, a cinque minuti (o meno) dalla tua porta.
La parte migliore della giornata sta tornando dalla spiaggia o dall'oceano e saltando in piscina! E 'rinfrescante e sempre frizzante. I bambini adorano la piscina per bambini, perfetta per i più piccoli che imparano ancora a nuotare. E non dimenticarti di prendere le nostre sedie da spiaggia e ammirare i meravigliosi tramonti dalla spiaggia proprio dall'altra parte della strada!

I giardini sono impeccabili con giardini lussureggianti, fiori tropicali e alberi da frutto. Gustare la cucina nella nostra cucina completamente attrezzata, gettare un po 'di pesce fresco o carne locale sulla griglia, o cenare in alcuni dei ristoranti di classe mondiale nelle vicinanze. Sarai proprio a casa in questa incantevole località!

Quiet and off the beaten path. Liked proximity to area resorts and beaches without all the noise. Unit was well stocked for all cooking needs. Lots of beach equipment available in the unit to use. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Booking staff communicated well. Didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor pool but looked private and inviting. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Condo!

Everything was tidy, and well stocked! The community is very friendly, especially the building manager! She made sure our stay was a pleasant one, and wasn't afraid to ask if we needed help with anything. Puako is a very beautiful location, and most of all it's peaceful and quiet, which is a huge plus! Puako stay

Perfect place to stay without the resort price. Small, but had everything we needed, and 2 bathrooms was a definite plus. Kitchen well-stocked with tools, but bring your own water bottles. The beds were comfortable, but AC only in the master. Also supplied many of the water toys. Would rent again.

Great Vacation Rental

A really comfy and cozy rental. Very well stocked and right next to a little general store. The caretaker worked tirelessly to clean and maintain the area after a large rainstorm.

Puako vacay

Loved the property - comfortable for a family if 5 with kids over the age of 16 and very well appointed. Everything you need is there - kitchen is great and perfect for meals. Unit is quiet and great sleep at night. There is a nice beach across the road and a short walk to beach 69 which is truly amazing. Look forward to coming back soon. Mahalo

Great place, Quiet and close to great snorkeling and beaches.

The 3 bedroom property is very nice. Close to beaches and snorkeling. We had trouble getting into the property because the entry info had not been updated on VRBO. We tried the numbers that we had and no one answered. They knew about our late arrival. They apologized for the mistake. We had a great time after getting in.

Great Location

We loved the quite neighborhood feeling and easy access to many beaches either by walking or driving. We are not "resort" people and really liked the homey feel of this unit. Very clean and well appointed with everything we needed. We are hoping to return next year with more of our family.

Great stay!

The condo was exactly as advertised. Made a great home base for our trip. Conveniently located near beaches and resorts. The supplied beach equipment (towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc.) were very much appreciated. Marla was very responsive when we needed something during our stay.

A dream come true!

Thank you so much for sharing this delightful home with us. Puako is beautiful, with several small beaches to choose from in easy walking distance. We saw seven turtles on one of our morning walks! It was a morning tradition for us to visit one sleeping turtle friend at the beach access so my daughter could sing him a lullaby (The turtles will stay on the beach with you for a long time as long as you stay a respectful distance away). Our kids, ages 6 and 8 were doted on by the lovely people at the condo and at the general store next door and felt special and loved the whole time we were there. Fresh fruit was amazing, bananas, mangos, and lines growing all over the property. We loved that there were snorkels to borrow, and children's life jackets. Several great beaches so nearby (beach 69 was my favorite, but my son loved boogie boarding at Hapuna). The condo had everything we needed and my son declared it to be the "best condo here" because of the two lanai and the AC. This place was a slice of peace and paradise. Don't forget to step outside at night and be amazed by the stars!

Nice quiet place.

The condo was basically as described. It is really two condos joined together. It is a little smaller than it seems in the pictures but not bad. Neither bathroom is joined to a master which was a little inconvenient. Access to snorkeling is one of the important things to us and there is great snorkeling there, but few if any ways to get into the water. The whole shoreline for miles is all lava. Also, be prepared for a lot of biting bugs. We went out the first night to watch the sunset and were all bit up for the rest of the trip and we were only out for about 15 minutes. Our timing was bad too as low tide was in the morning making it almost impossible to get into the water. Had we known that, we would not have chosen this location. Other than that, it was a nice place.

Condo was perfect.

The condo easily accommodated 3 couples. The location in Puako was perfect for access to beaches. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The two decks provided a sun or shade place to sit or eat. Beach towels and beach chairs were available for our use. There is an electric barbecue that is easy to use. The decor was very nice.Right next door is a store that has everything you need.

Perfect for us!

Quiet, great location, and a kitchen better stocked that most home kitchens. The off shore breezes flow right through the house providing a refreshing atmosphere. Easy access to the ocean for snorkeling.

Perfect for our family of 4

We had a fabulous stay at Puako Condo #101. It was well-maintained & clean with no tropical pest issues. Beds were super comfy. Bathrooms & kitchen were stocked with anything you might need. Entire unit was attractively furnished. The location is perfect, next to a general store & a short walk to two beaches. We plan to return next year-absolutely loved it!!

No AC but Perfect on all Other Fronts

No AC and the host was difficult to communicate with but the condo is everything you'd want it to be and has a great location. Puako Beach is kinda in the middle of nothing and not close to anything but for us it delivered on what we were looking for. It IS close to the saddle road and that gets you in striking distance to EVERYthing the island has to offer. The Puako Beach area is quite and serene and there are good spots to get runs and rides in. We bought some box fans to help with air flow and left them so hopefully you'll be able to use them to keep cool! I'd definitely stay there again!

Loved the location and the condo was great

Perfect place for our family. Sarah the person who cares for the condominium complex was very friendly and very helpful information. The condo is right across the street from the beach in Puako with great tidal pools. The reef extends the whole length of Puako and there is public access at multiple locations along the road. The snorkeling was fantastic with lots of turtles, eagle rays and tons of fish. Public access between house 39 and 40 is best for turtles and the reef at the end of the road at the last public access was our favorite. The condo was perfect and well stocked. There is no air conditioning but with ceiling fans and screens it was never that hot. It was a very comfortable place and the balcony's were private and great for sitting out with a glass of wine after a long day. The pool was also very nice and most of the time we were the only ones there. My kids liked chasing the geckos and we picked and ate the mangoes every day as well as some bananas, papayas and some lemons. Overall a great place and perfect location.
