Welcome to Del Ranchito, a place for you to retreat, relax, reset & revive yourself! This modern, tastefully decorated house is your ideal home base for touring Kanab and the National Parks (Zion, Bryce, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon). Located in one of Kanab Utah's newest developments, the home sits on a quiet street where you can take in the surrounding area's natural beauty. This family-friendly space features an open concept layout and boasts 4BR/2BA, designed with your comfort in mind.
The Space:
Adventure ready! Del Ranchito is designed to ensure you have a great time on your vacation! Enjoy playing on the putting green located in the garage and get ready to take in the clear night skies and beautiful surroundings from the back patio. Peaceful mornings and fun-filled afternoons await you. You'll feel at home in this spacious and stylish retreat. After hiking through Zion or exploring the Grand Canyon, get settled in the family room for a movie night; it's the perfect place to sprawl out and unwind.
Take your pick of one of the house's four bedrooms. Sink into the soft king bed in the welcoming Master bedroom. Take a refreshing shower or warm bubble bath in the Master's ensuite bathroom. Organize all of your clothes in the large walk-in closet.
The kids will love the bunk room complete with two twin bunk beds and a TV to enjoy early morning cartoons.
Guest bedroom #2 is a tranquil and cozy space with a Queen bed ,Awake refreshed and ready for a day of exploring.
Guest bedroom #3 has a double bed and offers both comfort and a desk area where you can finish up your last-minute work before hitting the town.
Head to the guest bathroom where you can pour yourself a warm bubble bath and relax. You are on vacation, after all!
Need extra beds? No problem! Both living room couches convert into sofa sleepers!
We have you covered with a fully stocked kitchen containing everything you need to prepare your favorite meals, including a blender, toaster, baking dish, cookie sheets, pots and pans. Enjoy your meals together at the kitchen island, or head out back to the patio and spend an evening under the stars. There's an outdoor sofa so you can sit back and relax with a cocktail while waiting to eat, as well as an outdoor table where you can share stories of the day's adventures.
After dinner take the family to the garage where you can compete in a friendly game of golf (putting that is!). Take turns seeing who can sink the ball while you enjoy the desert breeze. Then, go for an evening stroll around the quiet neighborhood and take in the magical views. This will be an experience that you're sure never to forget!

The Neighborhood:
Del Ranchito is located in a quiet neighborhood. It's only a short drive from Ranchos Park, which has a playground and plenty of space to relax and play your favorite games in the large, open, grassy space. The park also includes a walking trail - perfect for going on a stroll with your loved ones!
There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.
Equestrian and biking trails are also available.
Getting Around:
This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon.
Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.
Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.

Kanab is situated in the "Grand Circle" area and known as the "Hub of the Parks", centrally located among Zion National Park (30 miles), Bryce Canyon National Park (77 miles), the Grand Canyon (North Rim - 80 miles). You can also visit Pipe Springs National Monument (21 miles), the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (15 miles), Vermilion Cliffs National Monument (77 miles), Coral Pink Sand Dunes (20 miles), Kodachrome Basin (93 miles), Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area (75 miles), the "Wave"/Paria Wilderness (50 miles), Horseshoe Bend (77 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (65 miles) and so much more. Please note mileage is approximate and may vary by a few miles.
