Says it’s a hotel, but more an apartment block disguised as a hotel. No reception area. Given an access pin to punch in to get in to the room. The room itself is small, but not too far off average for a small Tokyo hotel room. However was fairly dated, and the bathroom looked like it had an attempt at a cosmetic refurb, but obviously so. The shower head itself had fallen off the wall and was laying in the bathtub, with only a couple of holes to show where it should have been.
It would have been nice to have been told about the actuality of the accommodation before having to stay here, but hopefully this lets others know.
Very poor soundproofing between rooms. There was a group across the hall, and we could hear almost everything they had to say. Made it hard to sleep.
