The little studio house met my needs as I stayed for 3 nights in KC by myself. The host was good with communication and responded if I had any questions.

Very nice. Enjoyed our stay. Wasn’t too sure how we would sleep on the Murphy bed as neither of us had ever slept in one. It was very comfortable. The shower is very small but doable. My husband is 6'3" 255lbs & was able to fit & shower okay. We would be satisfied to stay here again.

Location was in an older neighborhood that was a bit rundown. We had no issues, but did not feel like we were in a welcoming environmentThat is on us. We should get on google maps street view to learn more about the community we are planning to stay in.Otherwise, not hitches at all. This facility is probably more suited to a single occupant. Good place to save cost for a work trip.

NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED

Disappointed. Was very damp and cold. Trash can outside so full, no room for ours. Sheets and some towels had been put away damp so we had to rewash and dry. Things in cupboards up so high, no way to reach. no stepladder. Iron and hairdryer on top of dryer. could not reach. a yard we could have sat outside, no chairs. crack in murphy bed. . no chairs to sit on. only couch.

KC Trip

Was there on business for about a week. Place was clean but not spectacular. To be fair, maybe no one had stayed for a while before we got there but dusty and just not up to “covid cleanliness” as the handbook on the table described. Sheets for the bed were in the dryer but did not seemed like they were washed. I’m sure they might have been, we rewashed everything to be sure. Not really something you want to do after a 12 hour drive but whatever. Bathroom sink is practically unusable, unless you’re a 5 year old. We used the kitchen sink to brush our teeth and get ready. If you stay there, you’ll understand. The area was quiet but not as friendly as you’d think. Random dogs roaming around, I had an encounter with a huge Rottweiler, thankfully he wasn’t hungry. A few suspicious characters walking around at night but as stated quiet. I think the place is great for a night or two but for an extended stay it reminded me why I gave up my studio apartment living and grew up.

Fraud

I showed up after midnight due to my flight. Janine did not tell me that the door I needed to use was in the side. I found the door. It was very dark with no lighting. I had to walk down a path with leaves and large branches covering the walkway and tripped a few times. The code that she gave me to get in (on the keypad) did not work. Thankfully my Uber driver stayed with me. He tried to get in as well, with no success. We tried calling Janine several times to get help. I had to find a hotel at 2:00 am. Janine was not willing to give me a full refund, only a partial refund. She told me there were lights, but there was not. She sent me a picture of her keypad history, and it did not show me entering anything, so she would not refund the entire amount. However, her picture showed the keypad results for times that were before I arrived. My Uber driver and I both tried the keypad with the code she gave me several times. I would not recommend this host to anyone.
