Loved our stay at your unit. It had all the added bonuses of home. Well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable bed. Minimal road noise even so close to road. Wished we could have stayed longer.

This property is conveniently located near the coconut marketplace on the east side of the island. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and there are many dining options close by. The pool area was small but clean and if you got there early, there were places in the shade to sit. The staff was fantastic and dealt fairly with us over a water issue. It provided us with a budget option making the trip possible fo us. Although this unit was advertised as updated with a garden view, the view was of a giant hedge that blocked out all the sunlight. The lanai only received minimal light throughout the day and backed onto the main highway making it very noisy. It also made the unit very dark. The unit itself was spacious with a well stocked kitchen. It also had AC which was necessary because we couldn't have the sliding glass doors open because of the traffic noise. The biggest drawback was that unit needed a good cleaning. The floors and bathroom were dirty. I cleaned the bath tub and toilet so we could use it but the bathroom fan looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. There are 6 buildings onsite and units are individually owned but managed by a property management company. The traffic noise could be less in some the buildings and the units facing the pool and the ocean would be sunny. Bottom line, check the buildings location before booking.

This was a great centralized location. We had shopping for souvenirs, food and even groceries within short walking distance. The hot tub was more of a warm tub and the pool was too chilly for me to use. But overall this was a great place to call home for 10 days!

We stayed here for a week, and it was perfect for us. The place was very clean, and I’m picky, and felt very comfortable here. I was worried about bugs, we only had one run in but i had left food out. The place is by the beach, but the beach nearest to it is a little run down with odd fencing around it. However this is central to a lot on the island! Perfect for a budget friendly trip, and would stay again if I was looking in the same price range.

The area was good. The check in seems unwelcoming. We wete asked on line multiple times to agree to certain rules of our stay. When we arrived we eere asked to s Initial these items and sign the same thing. More concern for their interest and less for what they can do to inhance our stay. The air conditioner barely cooled as was annoyingly (defectively) loud.

This is a solid condo with a great location for exploring the island. Really convenient access to shops (ABC) and restaurants. Would recommend for those who prioritize value and having the basic necessities. Staff was friendly and helpful and the pools are conveniently located. Would definitely book again!

Affordable, clean and convenient condo in a good location to get around Kauai. 15 minutes from Lihue, 5 minutes from Kapa’a, 40 minutes from Hanalei, 35 minutes frok Poipu. Point being, nowhere seems too far out of the way from this spot. Inside it was super clean and comfortable. Kitchen had most all the amenities you need to cook meals. Only things I’d request for future visits would be a rice cooker and croc pot. Aside from that had all we needed. AC worked really well. Really enjoyed our stay and would come back for sure. Also a 5 minute walk to the Lava Lava Beach club which is a great beach front restaurant for the with live music!

The room itself was nice & it came with plenty of extras ( like coolers, beach chairs). The condo is in a convenient location near coconut market place with restaurants & other shops. And the property management company gave clear check-in instructions & were easy to get a hold of. That being said, there were a couple of things to mention- one of the hotel pools was out of order, don’t expect any help from the front desk staff ( only the association side around the corner but it was limited), & we had a few critter visitors inside the unit. I’m born & raised on the island so I’m fully aware of how the tropical climate is but I think due to the proximity to the large brush area & an unsealed window, spiders & roaches have easy access. Overall, we had a nice stay here, just have the raid spray handy.

Had a wonderful stay at Plantation Hale with a friend-our first time in Kauai! Nice central location made adventuring the island easy. Apartment was clean and stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation! Unit smelled pretty musty initially, but the smell dissipated after having the doors open for a while. Beautiful beach within walking distance and all staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Pictures did our stay justice. Three minute walk to the beach, store with everything you could ever need right across the street, and a wide variety of restaurants near by. We would definitely come back again!

We stayed in this unit for 2 weeks and this is my first time leaving a review for a vacation rental, even tho we have stayed in many over the years. PROS:: location was convenient for easy access to all areas of the Island. Management company was great. Pool and hot tub areas were close and kept clean as well as BBQ. Unit was ok size for a couple. King size bed was comfortable. Flooring was mostly updated, as well as kitchen and bathroom countertops, sinks etc. Close to beaches, shopping, restaurants. CONS: Unit really needs a complete deep clean, bathroom floor tiles were dated and extremely filthy, looked like they had not been washed In quite some time. Traffic noise was very loud as there was only a hedge separating the very small and filthy lanai from the highway. Kitchen was ok stocked for supplies but we had to buy a fry pan as there was only one very small and scratched one. TV was hard to operate and continually shut off. Noise from the unit upstairs was at times very loud. We had two cockroaches in the unit, and we know it is the tropics but it wasn't enjoyable. Overall , we still enjoyed our vacation in Kauai but we would not stay in this particular unit again.

Great island location, especially convenient next to the Coconut Marketplace. Clean, well equipped condo. Worked well as our nightly base as we were exploring the island with day trips throughout the stay. Definitely a place I would recommend, a great value. The place is comfortable and accurately described in the listing. The provided beach chairs were handy. Onsite staff was very friendly. Only downfall was the noise from the unit above. Seems like there was a furniture rearranging ritual for an hour each evening.

Overall, we liked this vacation rental. It was sufficient space and equipment for my husband and I during our stay and the location was great. Easy access to everything we wanted to do including beaches, tours, hikes etc. Access to bike path was perfect and we could easily walk over to the market to grab any food items we had forgotten to get at the grocery store. The grounds and pool spaces were very nice and maintenance/landscape crews were always around taking care of the area. We encountered a few problems with the TV/Internet with neither working for a period of time and having to contact the property management company numerous times and three-way conversations with the cable provider. Unfortunately the back and forth took up hours of our time trying to get it fixed but we were compensated with free late check-out which was appreciated. The TV in the living room would only turn on if you unplugged it from the wall first and then turned it on, it would not turn on by the remote alone - this was relayed to the management company but was not fixed. The unit does have air conditioning which was nice in the main space but unfortunately it was not in the bedroom and the vent between the bedroom/living room was not sufficient to cool it off.
