Unit was nice and clean. It was nice that they had an umbrella and beach chairs for us. It didn’t advertise that it had a view but I also only had a view of the parking lot. It was nice that the unit was downstairs and easy to get to. Pool was very nice and I loved that it was a quick walk to the beach. It also wasn’t overcrowded which was nice you could always find lounge chairs at the beach and at the pool. The restaurant on site had great food was a little pricey, but that’s to be expected overall I think this was a good place to stay.

Excellent property and very conveniently located. the property was very well maintained and had everything that we needed.2 small things. One of the TV's didn't work and one of the faucet handles in the bathroom didn't work. not a big deal, just an FYI. We would definitely return to this property to enjoy the beautiful sunrises!

Very nice facility. Grounds and pool were beautifully manicured and clean. The evening meal was excellent from the Oasis restaurant. Our room was very clean, nicety appointed and comfortable. The only issue we had with the room was that it seemed to have a mold issue and the floor over by the window was rippled and uneven. It seems to have had water damage at some point. We also didn’t realize that a “Garden view” meant you had a view of the parking lot. One suggestion would be that you add a small bench and rug inside the front door to make it easier to remove sandals. We were always tracking that gravel/sand in across the kitchen floor. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would come again, only this time I would make sure we were looking out at the ocean, or at least the pool area and would also locate on an upper floor to hopefully avoid the musty air.

The property was impressive. Spacious and tidy. Very comfortable beds. There was a nice patio area where we spent our evenings after dinner. Our kids used the pool and hot tub every night. We enjoyed a very nice meal at the restaurant on the last night of our stay as well. Communication for check in/check out was thorough.

Awesome Waipouli stay. We stay here quite often and this is definitely one of the better units we’ve had. It was beautifully updated, the furniture was comfortable (something that’s lacking in a lot of the units), the kitchen was well-stocked, & they provided all the beach gear you could need. Highly recommend, we will be staying at this unit again!

Great Condo

Condo was clean, perfect for our party of 4, centrally located for the things we wanted to do on the island! Amenities were amazing and beautiful beach!!! Sunrises breathtaking and even saw whales!!!

Nice place, smelled musty/ moldy

Lovely 2 bedroom condo on ground floor. Well furnished and stocked. Something must have gone wrong as musty/moldy smell and just worsened through the stay despite opening windows and doors. Host had maintenance check AC that team said AC looked fine but agreed that the condo smelled awful!

A home base to see the island

We have been to Kauai many times, but we have never stayed in Kapaa. We chose this location because we were bringing friends for their first visit to Kauai and wanted to be able to show them all sides of the island. The location was ideal, the condo could not have been better for two couples to share. The amenities were perfect for a relaxing day at the beach/pool. We truly enjoyed our time here.

We’re Coming Back

Had a wonderful stay in Kappa at the Waipouli Beach Resort. Our unit was exceptional-clean, beautifully furnished and comfortable. The resort has everything we wanted - a pool to relax around, the Oasis restaurant is not to be missed and situated within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, Safeway and ABC. Enjoyed our stay so much, we’re planning for next January a longer stay. The Remax management of this particular condo were great. Had a couple of issues upon arrival dealt with right away.

Great stay

We had to change locations due to Maui fire. They were available and the change was easy. Great location and easy to get places from resort. Would definitely rent again. Small issue was the tvs in bedrooms didn’t work and loose door handle. Thanks for accommodating us.

Do it for the pool :)

I specifically sought to stay within the Waipouli Beach Resort after seeing the pool - we love exploring the beaches, but the certainty of a great pool helps a bunch. :) I'd say if anything once we entered the condo it was even better than I expected from the listing. It was spacious - more space than we actually needed or could make use of - and super well stocked - both in terms of the kitchen basics we'd want as well as the extra beach toys, chairs, umbrella, and more that were provided. There were so many closets that I got lost trying to find the beach toys again. ;) I will say we had some bugs in the kitchen - specifically cockroaches. We'd probably see 1-2 a day for the days we were there, so not a ton. Combine a first floor condo with the fact that this is many units in a building co-existing, and that we're in the tropics and it wasn't entirely surprising. Remax (especially Angela!) was helpful as a host as well - I needed to get something sent to me, and was able to get the package delivered right across the street at a UPS store. As others have mentioned, it was super convenient having Safeway & Starbucks right across the street, a Long's Drugs right down the street, and many other things to walk to. When we moved down to Poipu for the 2nd half of our trip it wasn't the same on the convenience front.

Clean, spacious, well stocked!

We really enjoyed staying at waopuli beach resort and our unit was surprisingly spacious. There is a patio somewhat protected from the parking lot which we used frequently. The pool was nice and close and we had a picnic on the beach one night. This location has great access to the island and we often went north to gorgeous beaches. House was better stocked than we anticipated and we cooked often. Lots of grocery stores close and we hit Costco after we flew in. The two master sweets worked well for our older kids and us- and three bathrooms! Tons of communication from remax which got a bit confusing but it all worked out great. Thx so much for an amazing trip!!!!

Awesome location, minor updates needed

Property was spotless when we arrived. The cleaning crew is fantastic. Unit's location was perfect for a family with children. No stairs/elevator, easy access to pool and parking lot. Very quiet at night. Great supply of necessities like hand/dish soap, garbage bags, etc. Some things could be easily updated to really make it fantastic: shower handles loose, screen doors difficult to use, beach umbrella broken so can't screw into ground, ice maker makes lots of ice but doesn't quite fit in the freezer, and LOTS, I mean LOTS of unnecessary "decor" - fake plants, wall hangings, etc. that are in the way and feel cheap. Overall a great trip and we would book again.

5/5 Beach Get-Away that has it all!

Great stay at this resort! Honestly I think it would be hard to find a resort with better amenities. The pool, waterslides, and hottub(s) were a great back up plan for a rainy day. The walkability of this area is INSANELY good. There is a Safeway right across the street making groceries very convenient - and the kitchen that comes with the condo has EVERYTHING you could need (from grilling to cooking to sushi making). There are about a dozen restaurants and a couple bars within walking distance that made dinner plans very simple and convenient. AND the beach is just a few seconds walk from C105! Great for watching the sunrise and getting a start to your day. Many of the good beaches to swim at are also only a few minutes drive away (visited Hanalei (40 mins), Kalapaki (15 mins), Lydgate (8 mins), and Poipu (40 mins)). The beach chairs, towels, cooler, and umbrella that came with the condo also quickly became our beach day essentials. Snorkel rentals are not provided by the condo but are a short walk from the condo. The owners are quick to respond and will help you in any way they can. It was Mother's Day when I arrived and they helped arrange flowers for my Mom for when we got there! Couldn't ask for a better resort get-away. The price is right and it has everything you need! 5/5 stars will be staying again in the future!

Great stay - perfect for families

Overall, great stay! Clean, spacious and well stocked kitchen/beach amenities for great family stay. We had a great time. Only thing we had trouble figuring out was the code to the pool, but figured it out with no issues.
