“Every ting was ideal”

“A lovely light and airy room with a wonderful view. Comfortable bed and plenty of clean towels. Staff were most welcoming and very helpful. Wonderful selection of goodies for breakfast. Fresh fruit every morning alongside a cooked breakfast and timings for breakfast most accommodating.”

“Love are stay. Very welcoming. Staff were great. Room clean but could do with a paint job as paint was flaking. Plenty of choice for tea and coffee. For the room being above a pub it was very quiet. Breakfast good”

“Bridges B&B run by a lovely couple in a lovely house renting a lovely room had a lovely take away pizza delivered to the lovely local pub then back to my lovely room where I slept soundly in a lovely bed then a lovely shower and in the morning a lovely breakfast it was all just... lovely ”

“If you like Harry Potter, then you’ll like the accommodation, as there is a strong Harry Potter theme running throughout. That said, the cleanliness of the room occupied was at best ok while shelf space was extremely limited. Breakfast was a two-part affair, split between a cold buffet and a limited selection of hot food from the breakfast menu. The buffet was poorly provisioned when it comes to the likes of pastries, fresh fruit and yogurts with such items either lacking in variety or quantity,...

“Such a wonderful place to stay from the location, the staff and the room. We loved it all!”

“The hotel needs some work to elevate it to beyond 3 star status. The windows need replacing as the road noise from the front rooms is very loud. The evening meal was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just ok, but get there early before the self service becomes scarce. The bathroom tiles and grouting need work and some of the baths have been patched up poorly.”

“The meals were excellent both for quality and price, staff very helpful. The bed was comfortable however the windows did not close entirely. It was quite warm so not a major problem for us but the windows needed refurbishment so they be opened or closed easily. The electric shower was very weak. These issues were relatively minor given the pluses of staff, food and comfortable beds”
