Parcheggio troppo caro
Hotel molto bello, camera confortevole. La posizione di fronte alla ferrovia però non garantisce il silenzio durante la notte. Le tende non sono sufficienti ad oscurare la camera. Il parcheggio è estremamente costoso!

1) The hotel cleaners never cleaned our dustbins for 3 days the same rubbish was there from when we checked in till we checkout 2) the curtains are falling off and don’t cover all the windows, it was very hard to get any sleep whilst sleeping on the sofa bed as the light was coming in 3) the sofa bed was not made up and we had to wait 1 hour 45 min from 9pm till 1045pm till someone came to bring us linen/pillows/duvet 4) the bathroom shower was disappointing the water was so slow and half way through the water cuts off then followed by a small break the water starts again with ice cold water. This was the penthouse

Very disappointing!
We booked at the Diament Plaza because it was a new hotel with a good location, close to the train station and walking distance from the conference center. When we arrived to check in in the evening, we were told that our room had been "destroyed" by the previous customers, and they had no other room available. They first wanted to move us to one of their other hotels which was 6km from the city center! We had to check online ourself to discover that they had another hotel next to the convention center. They did no propose it directly. We had to force them to check whether there was a room available. There was one, which we luckily got. But the hotel was much older and less comfortable (two uncomfortable single beds instead of a queen, from the 70s). They never offered us any refund or anything to compensate for the difference. We also saw other customers being told their room had been given to someone else, because they "didn't confirm their late arrival". Very bad...

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Moderne Zimmer. Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Die Tiefgarage umfasst nur 4 Parkplätze. Zudem ist diese sehr klein und eng. Parksituation vor dem Hotel schwierig. Man kann jedoch auch im nahegelegenen Einkaufszentrum parken. Hotel liegt sehr zentral.

Recently renovated, the rooms in this hotel were beautifully decorated and very stylish. Check in and out was quick and efficient and all the staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was good with a great range of food and beverages to suit every taste. The hotel was very central and only a short walk from the train/bus station. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and, if we return to Katowice, we’d definitely stay there again.

Veldig fint hotell. Det var noen ansatte som ikke var så god i engelsk. Ellers var rommet veldig rent og moderne. For min del var frokosten ikke spiselig. Så jeg kommer til å bestille uten frokost om jeg skal tilbake. Kort gange til spodek arena.

We got the apartment room. The room was amazing and very clean. She staff at reception were very nice too. They even called our room a few minutes after we got in to make sure everything was good. Highly recommend this hotel.

Not recommended
So, first of all, the room was located with view for patio for air condition units, tight, confined zone. By the way, hotel was not fully booked. I parked my car exactly in the front of main entrance for 100 PLN on hotel parking place - in the morning I found cigarettes and bubble gums on the roof. Nobody walking on the street did it because there was an ash around and looks like cigarettes fall down from hotel windows directly. It's not fault of staff of course but certifies about hotel quality. Small rooms. Room no. 110. Breakfast excellent.

hotel refused to refund a breakfast I did not eat but never told me breakfasts were non refundable. Hotel refused to refund any nights when my flights were cancelled and staff was quite rude
