“I checked in around 10:30pm. I had no hot water. Took a cold shower and notified the front desk. Told her that it would be fine as long as it was fixed before I left the following morning. When I woke up, still no hot water. I was offered the option to go shower in a different room but I had neither the time nor the desire to change rooms just long enough to shower. “If you're looking for a cabin getaway in Missouri, away from noise and the city lights, and a place to just get away from life for a night or a few days, this place is it. It's a bit of a treck along a gravel road off the main road, but once here, you won't regret it. The hot tub under the stars was incredible. There are plenty of places to hike and enjoy nature. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. We will definitely be back in the fall.”
