“This was very remote, off the beaten path with zero reception. The driver said he had 50 years driving in Athens as a professional and was worried for me, he went to investigate if it was an actual place I could stay in. The person there seemed irritated, raised his voice because I could not understand the WiFi password (there were two written passwords & he could not explain which of the two options it was- it was the 2nd one). “What you may not know about this property is that it is directly across a beach frequented by the locals. This beach has a smooth pebbleless entry point. A perfect place to swim laps. The sea seems a little calmer here than further down the stretch, There is also little swimming ‘holes’ created by formations in the rocks. The hotel is complete with lounges and umbrellas. Just a short walk, maybe a half a mile, and you come across the more popular beach areas complete with restaurants....

“The apartment works for a quick stay. It is not luxurious and it has bare minimum toiletries. A 15min drive from the airport with a restaurant abd grocery store within a 2 min walk. I did not like that if you stay on the ground floor your access is from the side door that goes to the street and if you book on a high floor with 2 rooms, some do not have elevator access. The host was accommodating and attentive, but the place really does not reflect the luxury that is shown in the pictures. Beds...

“This place is amazing and the hosts are great! The location is in the mountainish area that offers an amazing view like none other and for the price its a steal! The host offers rides around so that you do not have to wait for a taxi/when you cannot get one nand offers it at a great price less than that of the taxis. The hosts even helped me secure a cake for my wifes birthday! 5-Stars and a must stay when in Athens.”
