“We found the place to be excellent, cozy, small and private, and a thrill during heavy rainstorms. I would do it again in a heart beat. ”

“Pros: I liked the location. There was easy access to Puna, Volcano NP, and Hilo. The owner gave me a 5 minute spiel on the property. Everything was in working order. Cons: I stayed at 4 different VRBO properties during my stay on the Big Island. All property owners except this one provided directions, check in instructions and check out instructions. You won't get that. And the directions are not intuitive at all. So I will do the property owner's job for him and hopefully save you frustration...

“Very quiet neighborhood. Centrally located for National Park, Fissure 8 tours, and Hilo adventures. Loved having snorkel equipment, beach towels, and ice chest to use...very thoughtful touches! Loved the quantity of bedrooms. FYI if it matters to anyone considering this property, there was no dishwasher. (When we booked and at time of this review, the listing indicates a dishwasher under "About This Property" and under "Amenities".)”

“If you like quiet, remote and clean with friendly hosts- this is your place. The bed was super comfortable. The stars can be vividly seen at night and the coqi frogs lull you to sleep. The outdoor shower is awesome. Glen and Lisa were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. You can’t beat the accommodations for the price. ”

“Very down to earth simple cabin. I loved its cleanliness and simplicity. The geo thermal heated tubs with rainwater were very enjoyable and Inreally enjoyed the steam vent experience. We felt very grounded and want to return. ”
