Enjoyed our stay
Very clean property. We enjoyed the elevated deck and timed our trip for some great bird watching. Amazing westward views. Even got to see a thunderstorm roll in. Saw deer and fox in the backyard doing their thing. We had no trouble but the driveway is steep.

Short drive to Shepherdstown and Harpers Ferry for historical rambling.
The cabin is quite nice, great loft with TV- This Old House Beautiful bathrooms; nice linens. I enjoyed the easy check-in. I don't require face-to-face with owner, so this was perfect. Everything was attractive and comfy. Would stay again with friends next time!

Great view!
It was great to wake up to the beautiful views and look across the valley while in the hot tub. My older parents really enjoyed their visit here for a family get away.

Nice vacation cabin
Very clean and comfortable bed. Nice view from deck. Couches have seen better days and not very comfortable if you want to stay in due to weather.

Cozy cabin in the woods!
Stayed a long weekend at this little gem and loved every minute of it! Would've loved to take home a pair of the cute Mountain Mama mugs but didn't find out until after we left that they're only available for purchase at the cabin. Will definitely be coming back to the Sunny Streams cabin and will certainly stay at other Mountain Mama properties in the future!

Cabin stay
Our group enjoyed our weekend getaway! From the sunset views to the wilderness scenery by the campfire, we enjoyed every minute. The cabin was very spacious and perfect for our group outing. Couldn’t have asked for a better cabin weekend with some great people, thanks to Mountain Mama!

Lovely property
Very warm and inviting house. Nice decor and very comfortable. Unfortunately the AC quit on us on day 2. Not the property owners fault. Was bad luck. Property owner did their best to resolve the issue but no techs were available in the evening. House became too hot so we left in the late evening a day early. Communication with the property was good and we were fairly compensated. In spite of the AC problem, which is a rare occurrence, we would definitely book again.

Forever Friends
We loved staying at Sunny Streams Cabin. The views from the porch were so pretty and we watched several deer walk through the yard. The beds were very comfortable and the stone fireplace in the living room was beautiful. We visited two breweries, a winery, Antietam Battlefield, Harpers Ferry and hiked on the Appalachian trail. Such a wonderful getaway!

Heavenly!
We spent a few days at Sunny Streams while we celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary. As soon as we walked through the door, we were giddy with excitement to have time in a real log cabin! From start to finish it was lovely- the beds were comfy, the serene setting was healing to our busy souls, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We had planned to visit a few places in the area but discovered that we loved being at the cabin so much that we opted to cancel other plans to enjoy our environment while we indulged in sweet naps, and wine by the fireplace.

Perfect mountain retreat
This was the perfect space for our friends and family. The kid room with bunk beads worked perfectly for the kids, all the adults had comfortable beds, the views were just as they appear in the photo. The check-in and check-out was easy, communication was seamless.

Lovely home with beautiful view
We enjoyed our stay at this home with our adult children. Traveling with adult kids, we especially appreciated that each bedroom was on a separate floor - allowing privacy for everyone. The view is spectacular, the kitchen is well appointed and the hot tub is delightful. The only caveat is to believe them when they say the driveway is steep! If there is snow you will need snow tires/4 wheel drive / chains, but that steep hill gets you the lovely view!

Beautiful location! Convenient to everywhere!
House is beautiful and everything is in wonderful condition. I was really happy with the centralized location for our History themed vacation. This house is a perfect place to stay for a exploration of history. Gettysburg, PA little over an hour away! Antietam, MD 7 mins away! Washington DC 1 hour 20 mins away! Frederick, MD like 30 mins away! Manassas, VA 1 hour 14 mins away! Johnstown, PA 2 hours 15 mins away! Harpers Ferry, WV 20 mins away! Really enjoyed our time at the house too! Play board games, watched TV, enjoyed the view!

Cozy cabin with a great view!
We spent a few days here in mid-April. The trees were just beginning to bud, so we had an amazing view of the valley from the enormous living room windows. The house was extremely clean, and towels and basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) are provided by the hosts. The whole family enjoyed the foosball table in the basement, and we gathered at the dining room table for board games and jigsaw puzzles. Harpers Ferry and many hiking options are close by (about 15-20 minutes). The cabin has a kitchen that is stocked with basic cooking implements, but we honestly didn't use it . . . there are so many good local restaurants that we wanted to try during our short stay. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely book this cabin again!

Truly wonderful stay

Hiking on AT with friends
Sunny streams was in a good location for our purpose of meeting friends for a hike to Annapolis Rocks on the AT. Other nice outdoor recreation is available in the area and scenic drives too. While the weather was very hot, the deck provided a very nice spot for gathering in the evening. The house was roomy with 3 separate seating areas. Nice comfortable decor. The driveway is steep as advertised but not a big problem in summer. The floors are very creaky/noisy and mattresses are foam which takes some adjustment. Each bedroom is on a separate floor which may be a concern for families with small children.

The perfect "cabin"
I am afraid to give too high of a rating because I don't want it all booked up the next time we want to visit, but everything about this luxury cabin was perfect. Totally private feeling in the woods with nature and VERY clean. Very comfortable beds and nicely decorated. My kids, wife, and I felt immediately comfortable and at home. Great communication from the owner and helpful welcome and departure web page info.

All Around Amazing Property!
This is hands down the best place I have stayed! The cabin is very peaceful and the views are amazing. It was super clean, communication with Eddie was fantastic, and it was very relaxing. Secluded yet not far away from anything you could possibly need. Will absolutely stay again!
