“We hebben een fantastische 9 dagen vakantie gehad in de stallen. Een erg vriendelijk en behulpzame gastvrouw. bij aan komst een heerlijk welkomst pakket en een heerlijk flesje wijn. Voor iedereen die een fan is van de National trust is dit de ideale accommodatie alles is op korte afstand bereikbaar en een rustpunt na een dag in de English Country. Donald en Anneke (Holland)”

“A luxury cottage in a beautiful setting. Tastefully furnished with a pretty garden. Unfortunately the countryside setting wasn’t that peaceful as sporadically two very loud men were working on restoring some vintage double decker buses in the adjoining barn - language and diesel fumes not so welcome.”

“The potting shed is definitely a hidden gem, its little but had everything we needed, it was spotless with a lovely garden for our dog to explore. The twin baths outside were a really nice way to unwind after a day sightseeing and there’s plenty of dog friendly restaurants locally. I would recommend the lazy fox for great service and lovely food.”

“A very nice place.a warning no kitchen of sorts.sink in a small cupboard and fridge etc in another.caution when exiting the drive.alot of traffic using the road.so be aware.the bedroom is gorgeous and overlooks the forest.owners very friendly and hospitable.”

“We stayed at Deer Hut on 26th August for our anniversary. Unfortunately, the stay was not as comfortable as we expected. When we opened the door, there were lots of flies around the lights, and the back window was open when we arrived. There was also a spider in the bathroom, which made my wife very scared and uncomfortable. Because of these issues, we couldn’t relax properly and didn’t sleep well that night. We were looking forward to a nice and relaxing anniversary stay, so unfortunately this...

“My family of 4 (including kids aged 5 and 8) had an incredible time at the Cottage over the course of 4 nights. The entire property is gorgeous and the hosts were so warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Our stay coincided with a period of warm weather so we got to enjoy beautiful summer evenings strolling about on a countryside estate watching foxes play on the adjacent field. My kids enjoyed picking strawberries from the garden and bouncing on the trampoline. The cottage itself was cozy,...
