Kenmare home sleeps 8 with use of hotel pool

Mountain View 2 is a large (165 sq m) and exceptionally spacious detached four-bedroom home set within the peaceful grounds of Sheen Falls Country Club, just outside Kenmare in Co. Kerry. Sleeping up to eight guests, it’s perfect for a relaxing break with family or friends.

You enter through the front door into a bright, welcoming hallway with a high ceiling. Straight ahead is the open-plan living area, which includes a tidy and well-equipped kitchen, a dining table with seating, and a cosy sitting room with comfortable sofas. The kitchen is fitted with everything you might need during your stay—an American-style fridge freezer, gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and microwave, along with all the necessary crockery, cutlery, cookware and glassware. A separate utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.

In the sitting room, the sofas are positioned to enjoy the TV and the warmth of the open fire. A starter pack of logs and kindling will be provided for your stay. Free Wi-Fi is also included.

French doors lead out to the patio area where you’ll find outdoor furniture—ideal for enjoying the long summer evenings for which this part of the country is known.

Downstairs there is one double bedroom with an en suite shower room, along with a family bathroom featuring a shower over the bath. Upstairs are three further bedrooms: two with king-size beds, and one with zip-and-link beds that can be made up as a king or two singles, depending on your needs. All upstairs bedrooms are en suite with their own shower rooms.

There’s ample off-street parking to the front of the house. The homes here are neatly grouped, with well-kept gardens filled with seasonal shrubs and flowers. Keep an eye out—you may well spot deer wandering nearby. Access to Mountain View is through secure electronic gates, and you’ll be given the code ahead of your arrival.

Sheen Falls Lodge
The five-star Sheen Falls Lodge Hotel is just across the road. Guests are welcome to enjoy dining at the fine restaurant and bar, or in the more relaxed setting of The Stables restaurant and bar.

Swimming Pool Access
We’re pleased to offer our guests complimentary use of the swimming pool at the Easanna Spa at Sheen Falls Lodge between 11am and 4pm daily. No booking is required.

**Swimming Pool Closed for Renovations**
Please note that floor renovation works will be taking place at Easanna Spa from the 2nd to the 12th of March (inclusive). During this time, the swimming pool will be closed to all guests. The gym will remain open and fully available throughout this period.

Local Area
Kenmare town is less than a five-minute drive away. You can walk, though please note the roads can be narrow and busy.
