There was no hotel staff onsite which was not communicated until check in. The room was 83 degrees and we could not regulate the heat properly. Again, no on-site staff, Door to balcony did not lock, not ok. Business across the street has live music every weekend until 10p. Not notified at anytime. Unacceptable.

I sincerely apologize you did not enjoy your recent stay here with us. We do our absolute best to communicate with our guests both before they arrive as well as during their stay. Additionally, we take our guests safety extremely seriously and I have personally confirmed the door to the balcony does in fact lock. Again, I sincerely apologize for the gaps in service you experience!

Another tiny room
The location is great. The room was pretty nice. We never saw anyone at the lobby for check in or out. The restaurant downstairs smelled like old fish…… Clean but tiny room.

Our bedroom was tiny. Pictures showed larger accommodations. Other larger rooms available at same price but we were given small room. Won’t stay here next time we come back Front desk person was not friendly The hallway on our level had an ice refrigerator that appeared to be there temporarily but was in use. Bad

Clean, quiet, great location.
Excellent location. Quiet room. The digital key did not automatically download when the room was ready. It would have been nice to have access to the room earlier to freshen up after a long drive, but not the end of the world.

Have stayed here several times … always a good experience. Some suggestions: need better lighting in the bathroom!!! Touch-up peeling wallpaper in bathroom. Small fridge in room would be great. While I greatly miss the 1st floor suite, will look forward to eating at the restaurant during our next visit.

Totally perfect location, shops available on t he street outside, restaurants a minute walk away. Enjoyed the very quiet room, never heard other guests. Great stay !

Rooms are small and short on space. No place to put luggage or a laptop. No amenities such as a refrigerator or microwave. This hotel is basically a nice place to rest your head at night.

This was the second time my husband and I stayed at the grand Hotel- we were there 2 years ago and loved it. This time however we walked into the room and the smell of mold and wet mustiness hit us in the face. The toilet was running constantly and ended up being clogged and the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. Also, There was never anyone at the front desk- I mean never! It felt deserted!The condition of the room was definitely weathered and when my husband finally spoke to the manager he had a bit of an attitude. Maintenance came and fixed the toilet and the air conditioning, but honestly, this should not have happened on our time! We spent almost $500 a night for this room and it definitely wasn’t worth it- The manager comped us one night after we threatened to cancel with our credit card. We definitely won’t be staying again at the “grand” Hotel!

Destination 70th Birthday Celebration
Check in was problematic as this property was managed by one individual who was running back and forth between properties. As far as the rest of the stay the employees were extraordinarily friendly, courteous, accommodating and made sure we received what we requested in the way of towels and coffee bar items. I was celebrating my birthday, 70 years young, and the staff made sure everything was perfect. Great location and most everything was in comfortable walking distance.

The Grand Hotel is a quaint property located in walking distance from many shops and eateries. It’s charming and well appointed. Michael was fantastic with helping us navigate our stay. I think having a staff member present several hours a day to assist travelers with check in and an overall welcome would be nice. The Grand Hotel was the perfect space to celebrate my mom’s birthday!

thought i was paying over 500 dollars for a nice size room , got stuck on third floor in tiny room that you could barely move around in and no room for luggage. nobody around to talk to! felt that i was ripped off!!

The Hotel was very clean and the room was very nice. The only thing that was off was not seeing anyone but that is because of the Covid.

The bed, sheets, pillows and towels were fabulous! After a long day of driving it was wonderful to luxuriate in a supremely comfortable bed with the softest, smoothest sheets and dreamy pillows!

We loved everything, the convenient location, to the heated bathroom floors. The breakfast bags of goodies were awesome to look forward to as well! Even respecting our new CDC “normal”, the staff was extremely awesome and helpful!

Cute, downtown stay
This is a cute hotel right in downtown. It’s walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants and about a mile from the beach. Contact-less check-in was very smooth and appreciated. The walls are a tad thin - we could hear the other group at the hotel watching tv and talking through the night. The balcony is adorable and has a great view!

Fantastic and Grand Hotel
The Grand is a fantastic hotel situated in the gorgeous Kennebunkport. Check in was easy and after settling in there was a glass of Prosecco to enjoy. The room was clean with good amenities and a great bathroom. It is perfectly located to walk and enjoy KBP with its shops and restaurants. Highly recommended
