I stayed at the "Tides Beach Club" many times before 1994-1998. and it was an elegant and very well maintained Bed and Breakfast (5 Stars across the board). And granted, this is a residence next door to the main house but, it is still part of the same association "Aparthotel",My review and disappointment... The reservations through Vrbo were not recognized by the non-contact check-in app and we had to address being charged twice, three times (only through texting) before someone made a correction and that was done the morning we checked-in by finally getting a person call back on the phone. Second, our intentions were to have a couples massage done in the residence however, when checking to see if there was enough space to do so, we were directed to the "Spa at Hidden Pond". The staff would not give a direct answer, so we had to concede to getting our massage of the "Spa at Hidden Pond Spa". Lastly, these are the simple issues that added to our disappointment; there was missing bars soap in two of the bathrooms, the bottles in the showers had the print rubbed off them, the king size bed is two twin beds pushed to gather and if you moved to the middle of the bed you sank in the crack of the mattress, the two pepper mills did not have any pepper in them, the rug in the master bedroom had a stain as big as a dinner plate on it, there is paint chipping off the window sills and one of the fireplaces didn't work. Many better places to stay for the for much better value!
