“Always one my favorite places to stay!! However, Mark downstairs made some long mornings quite pleasurable with his attentive service and friendly tableside manner. Told us a lot of cool things about the history of the area and hotel. Shout out to Chef for the great breakfasts as well!! ”

“Meg and Melody were fantastic! Fun sharing stories about the mansion, and meeting others during breakfast - also appreciated the texts from Grace ahead of our stay with instructions on accessing the mansion, etc. Grace also recommended restaurants, and we had a magical evening at Buck's - Reggie played piano, Anthony greeted us warmly, reminisced about Buck (the prior owner), and shared a mutual admiration for Prince Rogers Nelson. “Great spot, fun atmosphere, walking distance to so much (or a quick scooter) - bars less than 2 min walk, and the bar and food at the hotel is great too. Cool river view, unique room (clean comfortable, but more personality than your regular hotel). Will definitely be looking for other Moxys in the future.”

“This was our first overnight stay visiting our daughter who is a student at U of L. This location was central to campus, dining and local sites. The house itself is a piece of charming history. We found the bed and atmosphere as comfortable as home. Breakfast was a delicious and fresh. We will stay here again or possibly try another of the host’s properties. They take every care to make your stay as comfortable as can be. We wanted for nothing. Highly recommend!! ”
