“The room condition was horrible. The room smelled really bad. There were several old used towels piled up in bathtub when we first got to room. The vanity cabinet had something spilled all over them. No soap at sink. Had to use soap from dispenser in shower. The balcony off our room had bird droppings all over balcony and seats. It was not usable. Bathroom faucet was pulled away from wall. I had to hold it in to pull stopper up for a shower. The cleanliness of room was not worth the rate we were...

“The property was very clean. The bed was very comfortable except for the flat pillows. We had very poor tv for both nights. It was frustrating that we couldn’t watch the nba playoffs on either tv because their satellite had poor reception. The front desk never answers the phone so I went down to the desk and the employee was reading and eating pizza. The second night they didn’t answer because they were folding laundry. “Very pretty hotel, definitely seems to be newer. The room was nice, but had an almost damp feel to it...bed was comfy, or we were just so exhausted we crashed. Shower pressure is low but the shower itself is super nice! Don't get the rooms right near the elevators, you hear the hum of them moving. Overall, I'd stay again, just not close to the elevators.”

“Very nice hotel. The only problem I had was the noise level in my room. The guests in the next room watched TV and the sound penetrated into my room very clearly. I could easily hear that they were watching reruns of Friends. This was pretty annoying and I might have asked for a change of rooms, but they eventually turned off the TV and I had no further issues. My feeling was that there was insufficient insulation to deaden the sound between rooms.”

“Room was clean. Nice log cabin style motel! WiFi worked great as there’s no service in the area. Situated across the street from a really good BBQ joint. A/C worked really good and plenty of hot water.”

“I’ve stayed here before so know the hotel pretty well. The pool was closed for maintenance, which I can’t fault them or the site for, and even though it was one of the main reasons for picking this hotel it didn’t make much difference to our trip. The hotel still has the old name on the sign, which threw me for a moment, but the picture is the same. The rooms need a little bit of work but for what we needed it was good.”

“The room was very clean and the staff were polite and professional. Old carpet in hallway that had slight smell (replacement needed). Breakfast was very limited. Outside property was nice and it had a large area to run my dog which was very helpful.”

“What a wonderful experience! Amy was the best host ever. The setting is stunning with the rolling KY hills and Highland Cattle grazing around the cabin. It is a small rustic cabin, but so enjoyable! ”
