  • Un bungalow semi-indipendente a pochi passi dal centro città con facile accesso alle colline vicine. Posizione tranquilla con splendide viste, giardini e parcheggio privato .. Piano terra:
    Soggiorno: con camino a gas, TV Freesat e lettore Blu-ray / DVD.
    Cucina / sala da pranzo: con forno elettrico, piano cottura in vetroceramica, forno a microonde, frigorifero, lavatrice / asciugatrice e radio DAB.
    Camera 1: con letto matrimoniale.
    Camera 2: con due letti singoli.
    Bagno: con doccia e vasca e WC. Riscaldamento centralizzato a gas, gas, elettricità, biancheria da letto, asciugamani e Wi-Fi inclusi. Lettino disponibile. Congelatore in garage .. Giardini anteriori e posteriori con prato, posti a sedere e barbecue. Negozio di biciclette. Parcheggio privato per 2 auto; parcheggio aggiuntivo su strada .. Il bolthole è un accogliente bungalow semi-indipendente situato in una zona residenziale molto popolare ma tranquilla di Keswick vicino al Convention Center. È situato in una posizione elevata che offre splendide viste panoramiche dal giardino posteriore attraverso Catbells, Causey Pike, Grisedale Pike e intorno a Ullock Pike, Skiddaw e Latrigg.
    La proprietà è composta da un soggiorno, cucina / sala da pranzo, bagno e due camere da letto, una matrimoniale e una doppia. La connessione Wi-Fi è disponibile e il soggiorno è dotato di una TV Freesat con lettore Blu-ray / DVD. Il giardino sul retro ha sia un tavolo da picnic che una panca da giardino da cui gli ospiti possono godere delle incantevoli viste panoramiche. Nel garage si trovano ulteriori sedie da giardino e un barbecue, ideale anche per riporre biciclette e / o canoe. C'è un parcheggio in loco per un massimo di due auto sul disco e c'è anche un parcheggio su strada aggiuntivo. I proprietari accettano fino a due cani per soggiorno.
    Il bolthole è a soli 10 minuti a piedi dal pittoresco centro di Keswick, sono tre parchi e le splendide rive di Derwentwater, da cui il lancio di Keswick trasporta i visitatori in alcune delle parti più panoramiche di Borrowdale. L'accesso a molte delle passeggiate sulle colline e nei boschi circostanti è a soli cinque minuti a piedi. Keswick ha un mercato due volte alla settimana nell'area pedonale intorno alla Moot Hall e ospita numerosi festival annuali durante tutto l'anno, dal "Mid-Summer Festival" al jazz e blues, film, birra e sport di montagna. Il famoso Theatre by the Lake di Keswick e il suggestivo Alhambra Cinema sono a pochi passi da The Bolthole.

It would have been difficult to fit 4 people in kitchen. Not much clear worktop space to prepare food etc.Did not expect to find crockery in cupboard in hall - expected it to be in kitchenFreezer iced up requires defrosting and drawers not very clean Whirly in garden broken. These did not detract from enjoyment of holiday. Found house cosy and comfortable.

Access to back garden is from side door through a gate so couldn’t let dogs have free roam from house to garden. Petrol station sold groceries 5 mins walk. Great shower. Views only from rear. We have just returned from a lovely week at this cottage. Conveniently placed 10 minutes from the town centre but with the added bonus of a garden and off street parking. Very quiet clean and modern cottage with stunning views. Well equipped kitchen plenty of hot water and lots of helpful tourist information. Nice little bungalow, with garage for bike storage, and access to walks straight out of the door. Lovely views across to the mountains! A little bit further from centre of Keswick than ideal, but still walkable in 10 minutes. Would definitely recommend, and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

This is the second time we have stayed at The Bolthole (formerly Candlemass) and loved the newly refurbished bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, cutlery, cooking untensils etc. It is in a lovely position, with a great view from the garden of the fells, so relaxing, and really quiet. I always think it is a privilege when people accept dogs in to their properties - so thank you for making the whole family welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here.

This well appointed bungalow is in a quiet location, within easy walking distance of the main street. There are many walks from the door too, without needing the car! It's comfortable and warm with all that is required for a fully self catering holiday. There is an enclosed garden too, suitable for dogs, and furniture to enjoy an afternoon cup of tea. The views are stunning too. We had a brilliant week, hope we can stay again in the future.
