Un cottage semi-indipendente ben posizionato con vista dall'alto. Una posizione tranquilla, vicino a Derwentwater ea solo un miglio dal centro di Keswick. Piano terra:

Ci sono diversi caffè, sale da tè, ristoranti e due porti turistici in questo famoso villaggio sul lago, accessibile tramite un sentiero da Keswick, dove troverete numerosi servizi. I proprietari hanno dedicato molto impegno e attenzione ai dettagli per creare un cottage che trasuda qualità e ottime strutture. C'è una favolosa sala da giardino che funge anche da sala da pranzo, con vista sul giardino e verso le colline, bagno e doccia, cucina eccellente, stufa a legna, pavimenti in legno, parcheggio e Wi-Fi.

Combustibile iniziale per woodburner incluso, successivamente disponibile localmente al costo. Solo fino a due cani.

We had a great time at 3 Barf Cottages.

We had a great time at 3 Barf Cottages. The cottage was lovely, clean, and was well equipped for a family our family of four(+dog). Positives - comfy beds and pillows, large selection of crockery and utensils in the kitchen and a great location from which to walk into Keswick. Negatives - slight road noise when you are sat in the garden, but it is a good location as only a couple of minutes from the main road. The patio doors from the downstairs bedroom were also so difficult to lock we decided to not re-open them once we had them locked. Also note, if you have more than 1 car, you can only fit 1 car in front of the property, but there is additional parking a bit further down the road. Overall a great holiday and we will definitely be back. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Excellent accommodation although we were there for Christmas week and the Christmas Tree was pathetic. If we had had children we could not put presents under the tree is was about 1 1/2 ft if that and tucked in a corner hidden by the sofa. We had been there at least an hour before we spotted it. It’s not as if the wasn’t room. A decent tree in the conservatory would have been lovely.

Lovely house set in a peaceful location with Spacious rooms,Well equipped kitchen.

Lovely house set in a peaceful location with Spacious rooms,Well equipped kitchen. 20 minutes walk to Keswick and shops. Local pub 2 minutes walk. Close to lovely cafes. Lakeside and hill walks very close too. Log fire was an added bonus. We’ll be back!

Overall a pleasant stay, couple of cleaning issues, log burner not cleaned out and cleaner head not working so couldn’t vacuum on leaving property ( left these comments at property). Area ideal for getting around, great walks on your door step & Keswick only a short walk.

The cottage is fresh and modern with lovely views, well equipped and plently of space.

The cottage is fresh and modern with lovely views, well equipped and plently of space. The layout and bedrooms worked particularly well for us. We really enjoyed the kitchen/dinning area with the huge window. There was noise from the A66 if you were outside at peak travel times, but this did not bother us. Great location as we were able to walk to the village pub, the marina launch, enjoy water activities and walks without need if a car. We also walked into Keswick on a number of occasions. It was spacious enough for 6 people (teenagers to grandparents) to live comfortably.

All ok except a couple of small issues.

All ok except a couple of small issues. The fencing around the garden was not that secure our little dog got into next door. And we noticed a camera (CCTV) pointing into the patio and garden room. Apart from that we would return.

A beautiful property with beautiful surroundings! The log fire just made it! I would fully recommend it to anybody and would love to stay this time next year!
