“Really impressed with our stay. Lovely old hotel with a sort of faded grandeur. In the best possible way. Huge bed, great bathroom, excellent breakfast with daily specials as well as the usual suspects. Free parking on the road out front (if you can find a space). All in all a thoroughly enjoyable visit...”

“Kettle in room was dirty brown yellowy in the bottom asked for it to be cleaned to be told it had been cleaned so was unable to make a brew in the room. Breakfast was ok although fried egg was not cooked properly very snotty. Boiled eggs uncooked today. The woman had bad attitude the way she spoke to guest blunt and rude. Would not stay here again.”

“Comfortable cottage that was well equipped and really clean. The cottage was in a great location”

“The room was just what I needed- sink in the room and facilities done the hall. Can be noisy when other guests arrive. Otherwise it was fine.”

“Easy self check in. The room was very spacious with full bathroom and toiletries. Also had a hairdryer. The breakfast was excellent 👌 with plenty of choice which you ordered the night before. Staff were helpful and restocked the breakfast table with fruit, juice and yoghurt. I loved the fact that there were mugs on the tables, depicting the Wainwrights! Nice touch. Parking was a bit tight if you returned late, but for one night, it was fine. Would definitely stay again!”

“Wasn’t able to communicate with the host before the arrival, but in the end I didn’t have any problems. The flat is centrally located, spacious and clean. While the kitchen is fully equipped, it would be appreciated to provide some toilet essentials such as soap and shampoo. Overall, I’d recommend it”
