“Our large room was very spacious and it had a nice homely feel. The bed was very comfortable and the right size. There was also a decent back patio to enjoy our private dinner. Window and patio door opens wide to allow sufficient ventilation into our room. The room is clean and tidy including the bedding. There was enough space to store our luggage including our belongings. “On arrival, we were shown to the "penthouse", a twin room on the third floor. The large bedroom light worked, but none of the smaller, bedside lights worked, so not great at night - totally or all nothing. Floor-space in the room was significantly compromised by a dismantled wooden bed-frame cluttering up the room. “My nephew and I had to relocate our hotel from the Premier at the last minute due to a change in the date of the Leicester City game, so we booked into the Bell Gate House. Having seen some reviews, we weren't expecting a great deal, just somewhere to sleep.
