We wanted to mix a little pleasure within the trip and this place seem to help out. It was a very relaxing environment, full of beautiful scenery & amazing people. “We use VRBO rentals about 4 times a year and this has been one of the best! The lake and beach were breath taking. The picture doesn't do it justice. There was plenty of room for 12 of us from 10 months old to 85 years old. We enjoyed our afternoon in Elk Rapids. There's a great playground on the beach with plenty of shade and bathrooms near by. “The cabin was filthy and needed deep cleaning. In detail: There were cobwebs hanging places that were obviously many years old. The floor had not been cleaned within for 4" of the wall for years. It is an old rustic cabin which was expect. On day two the rental company called us to check in on our stay. I told them this. “The cabin is listed NEW in its title. It is far from new. Its not a bad cabin if you just want peace and quiet, but know there is not WIFI, TV's or AC. The cabin as a whole was clean but the sofa bed was DISCUSTING!! The lake was very peaceful!! DISDISCUSSING ”
