Great weekend getaway
Great location, communicative managers, tools and main things that you need. Only 'issue' that is kind of to be expected with being a pet friendly place, is it has a bit of a pet smell but not awful. Overall, recommend it.

Beautiful Island, nice condo, helpful property mgr, one bad surprise!
The bad surprise - ebikes are not allowed on Kiawah Island. This was never mentioned in any information received or written about the condo or Kiawah Island. All info speaks of 30+ miles of bike paths which is why we came to Kiawah. If we knew ebikes were not allowed, we would not have rented. Recommend this info be highlighted for future renters.

The Kiawah Resort has many rules and restrictions and we couldn't fit them all in the listing on VRBO. We do advise that you check before booking about thing like e-bikes which are generally banned in most resorts for safety reasons. We're sorry you couldn't use your e-bikes. The 2 stars for this is unfair. We do not make the rules for the Resort. No rental listings are going display all of the resort rules due to space limitations.

Week of September 17
My wife and I stayed at this property for 4 nights during the week of September 17. The property was exactly as advertised and was the perfect/relaxing stay, The location was absolutely terrific as we could literally walk to the beach in 5 minutes. Restaurants and market ( Harris teater that we loved) were also quite close and we enjoyed this convenience. This was our first trip to Kiawah and our only wish was that we stayed longer . We will be back !!

37th Anniversary Celebration
This unit is extremely clean & it’s pet friendly!! A double plus !! The location is awesome ! A 5 minute walk to the beach. This beach is amazing !! At low tide it is sooooo big and the sand is bike rideable ! Nice and hard packed. I can’t say enough about SeaLa Vie other than I wish we could have stayed longer ! ❤️😊

We had a great stay here and enjoyed bringing our dog. The master bed was a little hard for our liking but the villa had everything we needed and was accurately described. We would definitely rent again!

Fabulous property, great location
Our stay was great! Everyday, we walked to the beach for a beautiful afternoon of sun, biking, reading and splashing in the water. It was fun to bike around. Having Freshfields with groceries, shopping and restaurants was so convenient. We made several forays into Charleston for fabulous meals. The golfing was spectacular. Sea La Vie was the perfect launching point.

Another great stay at Sea La Vie
This is our second time staying at this property. The condo is perfectly appointed, conveniently located and clean! We stayed with our 3 year old, 1 year old and dog and enjoyed the quick walk to the beach and convenient location to the conference center. Thanks Sea La Vie!

Weekend Getaway
This villa is perfect for a wonderful vacation. It is well maintained and conveniently located. My family enjoyed golf and a day trip to Charleston, Sullivans Island, Folly's Beach and Isle of Palms. The property management is very conscientious with emails and texts to keep you informed.

Wonderful Spring Break
We throughly enjoyed our stay. Our dog had a great time on the beach which is 5 mins away. The residence is exactly as advertised. Very quiet area. Freshfields plaza is a 5 min drive, recommend King St Grille who are dog friendly. Village like feel place for groceries, pizza plus other shops.

Mixed emotions
Place had receny been redone very nicely noisy Upstairs and side units both created lots of noise through the walls the king size mattress was so hard and uncomfortable could not use the bed. The queen sized bed had urine stains on the mattress and mattress pad which we cleaned Porch furniture n the das upgrading. Not much of a view It was nice to have tv access to Netflix Probably would not go back for the expense. Thanks

Short but enjoyable stay at Kiawah island
We stayed at the property August 28 thru August 31. We especially like the short walk to the beach. The property was clean and check in was very easy. My only problem was the kitchen pots and pans. All of them in such bad condition so they are not usable. Other than that the kitchen had everything we need.

Best villa at kiawah in my 26 years going there
Beautiful villa. I could hear the ocean from the back porch deck having my coffee in the early morning (6am) before the bustle starts. Also nice it’s right past the guard house and was easy to find upon arrival. I’ve had to hunt for a few villas I was renting. Great renovation, very modern farmhouse beach chic. Super short walk to the beach (.32 miles) to a nice secluded area on the beach. Stocked with all the essentials plus more I didn’t expect. I’d def intel’s stay here again. Even considering a trip down to stay a few days to visit Charleston Christmas time,. The hosts are super nice and respond quickly.

Kiawah Condo Spring Break Trip
Our family of 5 (and dog) loved this place and will come again. Very clean & updated condo 5 minutes from West End Beach. Everything was well stocked (towels/napkins/ice/coffee) Great internet/cable for kids. We loved the location- closest unit to the beach in the complex. It was also walking distance to Osprey Point Golf Course. Close to Freshfields Village (which my kids loved). Very responsive owner. Will rebook for sure.

Anniversary get away
We truly enjoyed our time at Sea La Vie this past week. The villa had been newly renovated throughout and everything looked sparkling new. Kitchen was well stocked (even though we ate out every night at the fab local restaurants) - it had all that would be needed to whip up vacation meals. Very nice touch with the wine and cookies greeting us at the door upon our arrival. Great location close to the beach and I even walked to my round of golf at Cougar Point! I’ve never been able to do that anywhere. Very responsive hosts: A+ rating

Great beach getaway
The condo was clean and had sufficient towels and basics. We rented bikes for the week and it was about a 2 minute bike ride or 5 minute walk to the beach. We had a great vacation. Highly recommend this rental !

Nice place but overpriced
The unit was clean and close to the beach but had no pool access, which was a disappointment. It was only 2 bedrooms, despite being advertised as 3 beds ( one is a sleeper sofa). It was a nice setting overlooking a pond and was very peaceful. Price was higher than expected for the unit- not a good value.

We’re sorry you didn’t find the home to be perfect for your stay. The listings clearly states we have no access to the Kiawah pools and that it is 2 bedrooms with a sleeper sofa. It helps us all if you throughly read the listing prior to booking a home so you are well matched with what you are looking for! The rate was higher than normal because you booked for the weekend of the PGA Championship which was being held at Kiawahs Ocean Coursewhen demand was very high for homes in the resort where access to the golf course was easier!

Didn’t realize the “3 bedroom” description was only two rooms but the living room with a pull out couch counted as a “bedroom”. We came with the expectation of 3 actual bedrooms from the website. But other than that it’s an amazing place to stay

We're sorry for any confusion caused by the VRBO website. VRBO count any room with a bed or sofa bed as a "bedroom". The layout and configuration of all beds is clearly set out in the Beds/Rooms section where it says sofa bed.

Great unit with a terrific location
We stayed in this unit during the PGA tournament. It was obviously recently updated/renovated and it was very well kept. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and less than a five minute walk to Cougar Point (where you can play golf and get meals and drinks). The owners were great about communicating with us as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay for a quick weekend!
