    Step across the street and enjoy stunning Kamaole Beach Park II, one of Maui’s best swimming beaches. Revel in the spectacular sunsets or stroll along miles of white sandy beach at “first light.” Kihei Akahi is ideally situated and offers excellent value. This one-bedroom vacation condo features a private lanai, a cable TV, free high-speed WiFi, a washer/dryer, ceiling fans, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a complimentary, in-suite safe. A tennis court and barbecues can also be found on the property’s beautifully manicured grounds, in addition to ample free parking. Enjoy a cool swim in one of the two pools. Great shopping and a variety of restaurants are also just minutes away from your doorstep.

    A mandatory $25.00 check-in/resort fee will be assessed.

    Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

    Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours.     Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Was get stay. Room clean and well equipped. A couple things: 1- 2 tiles on the outside porch were lifting- needs attention 2- knives in kitchen were so dull we had to purchase knives and a cutting board 3- fridge and nightlight (by bathroom sink) were burned out 4- beach umbrella was broken. These are just things that need attention, but we had a wonderful stay, in a great unit with a beautiful view.

Not the best we have stayed in

Pest control service came in during our first week. Even though we made sure we were gone for more than four hours, the chemical still made my wife sick for two days. It still didn't kill the tiny ants in the place, especially in the area of the couch, in spite of the note we left for the pest control operator. In addition, due to the feral roosters the complex does nothing about, and the early morning garbage trucks, it was the noisiest complex we have stayed in during our 10 visits to Maui. Workmen and cleaning crews started showing up at 6:30 a.m., even though "quiet time" supposedly lasted until 8:00 a.m.

Reno needed

We had a lovely time in Kihei, however, the condo suite was old and dated and had many deficiencies. We have stayed at the Kihei Akahi 12 times in various suites and this one was one was the second worst. The carpet needs to be replaced (it was taped down in the bedroom doorway) and the bathroom needs renovating. There was a musty smell from the bathtub. The view from the lanai was exceptional, but we were unable to sit out as much as we would have liked as the chairs were uncomfortable. The kitchen cupboards were so high that I was only able to reach the bottom shelf. I am 4"11".There is little storage space. There are not enough kitchen supplies (2 teaspoons in the drawer, no coffee filters or kleenex). The picture in the living room looks like a garage sale throwaway and the curtains to the lanai are sunburned and ripped. The bed was good and the couch was comfortable There was plenty of dishwasher and laundry soap. I would not stay in this condo again unless a renovation was done.

Just the right amount of elevation

Not a fancy place, just everything you need! Loved being on level with the fronds of swaying palm trees. The apartment is efficient and well-appointed. We did breakfasts and lunches “at home,” walked to the beach, and made planned drives to our Maui excursions. For a three-person family, Kihei Akahi had everything we needed!

10/10! Great location in Kihei, clean, and a wonderful view!

We had a wonderful time here. The property was just what we needed. It was clean, easy to access, and in a great location. There were several things to do/restaurants/beaches close by/within walking distance. It was amazing to wake up and drink your coffee to a fabulous view!

Kihei Akahi visit

Location of property was great. The property and grounds, in general, was great. The property itself is a bit dated however overall it was great and would stay again because the location was very good and close to a good beach, shops and restaurants. Thanks!

Excellent view but uncomfy bed

Lanai view was perfect for watching sunsets through the palm trees. Recently renovated condo was attractive. Bed was so soft and squishy that it was difficult to roll over at night. I often gave up and slept on the couch.
