Due to Maui’s rural location, you may experience the occasional rooster or harmless gecko.

Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaiʻi — please don’t harm them. The HOA performs regular pest control, but insects and lizards are part of island life. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you experience more than normal pest activity — we’ll work with the HOA to help.

Hawaiʻi’s tropical environment supports a variety of small island wildlife, including geckos, ants, and occasional roosters. Despite regular professional pest control, these are part of normal island living. Any contact with such pests does not constitute a breach of agreement or qualify for refunds or adjustments.
