“Do NOT stay here. My taxi driver did not want to drive me to this hotel ad it is in the old part of Mombassa. I insisted. I did not realize this hotel had a 10 pm arrival deadline when i booked. I emailed the hotel and called them 4 times to let them know i would be arriving late. They never replied but did hang up the phone once when they answered without speaking with me. I was not able to access this hotel”

“The hotel is just as pictured - gorgeous views from everywhere on the property. The staff were lovely - friendly, always wanting to help, etc. The room was very comfortable and close to everything. As we were both somewhat unwell when we arrived, we would have liked a few more basic options on the dinner menu as our appetites were not there and it was difficult to find simple food that we felt we could handle. Otherwise a perfect stay!”

“Retro Boutique is a great, small hotel near Diani Beach. I stayed in the deluxe double room on the top floor, and I was amazed at how large my room was. Most if not all the rooms have a balcony, but my room had two balconies. One in the front of the room and one in the back of the room. The water pressure in the bathroom was good, the A/C was cold, and the wifi was fast. My bed also had a mosquito net, but I don't think it was necessary. “Il resort è curato in ogni dettaglio in stile swahili, struttura fantastica, la camera molto confortevole, poco curata nella pulizia. Il miscelatore di acqua calda poco funzionante (troppo bollente o eccessivamente fredda) difficoltà nel fare la doccia. Il resort è dotato di diverse piscine molto scenografiche ed accessibili al pubblico. La pecca più grande è il mare impraticabile poiché c’È la presenza di rocce e molte alghe. “This resort was the most Magical and Peaceful place I've ever stayed. The staff deserves a raise because of how attentive and nice they were. The breakfast was so delicious and there was endless options to choose from. I enjoyed my stay so much I didn't want to leave the property. The only suggestion I would have is to offer dessert on their menu. But I would recommend Tombo House to anyway who wants to enjoy nature and wants to get away from the boring ambience of chain hotels.”
