Punana Aloha, che significa "nido d'amore" in hawaiano, è un rifugio con una camera da letto e un bagno sull'incomparabile spiaggia di Anini. Costruito con cedro naturale dappertutto, questo cottage è la scelta perfetta per una vacanza semplicemente "allontanarsi da tutto". Limitato a un massimo di due persone, il cottage è ideale per viaggi di nozze o anniversari.

Situato sulla verdeggiante North Shore di Kauai, Anini Beach è un paradiso per il viaggiatore che vuole sperimentare la bellezza naturale incontaminata delle Hawaii. Protette da una grande barriera corallina esterna, le tranquille acque di Anini sono perfette per nuotare, fare snorkeling, pesca, kayak, windsurf e prendere il sole. Segui Anini Road quasi fino al punto in cui finisce a Anini Stream e troverai Punana Aloha su un mezzo acro di terreno magnificamente paesaggistico che si affaccia sull'oceano. La cucina completamente attrezzata contiene armadi in rovere massello con una grande dispensa, una cucina a gas a quattro fuochi con forno, frigorifero da 20 'con fabbricatore di ghiaccio, lavastoviglie, smaltimento dei rifiuti, forno a microonde, barra di sei piedi / bancone / isola di cottura, macchina per il caffè , cuociriso / piroscafo, tostapane, frullatore, miscelatore, ecc.

Fantastic cozy home

This house was a perfect place to chill, or spend time on the beach across the road, and a fabulous base of operations for our island adventures! Previous guests have left a lovely assortment of spices and condiments, and we contributed so check the fridge before you buy salad dressing or mayo. The local farmers markets are a great way to stock up on fresh produce. Make sure you snorkel down at the park, there are tons of turtles there!

Great place on Anini beach

The place was great. Quiet and had everything I needed for some alone time. Just a short walk from the beach. Centrally located for my needs with groceries and restaurants close by. I would easily stay here again.

Our Stay at Anini Beach

We had a great time. We were able to seethe ocean thru the living room window and it was about a 3 minute walk to the beach. Snorkeling in the cove we saw a variety of fish and a sea turtle. Bit of a bumpy unpaved road the last 1/4 mile to the driveway entrance

An absolute dream!

This location could not be more perfect! Suzi was so helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Although, we didn’t really need to communicate much because everything was so terrific. The islands experienced a pretty big storm that caused power outages, but the house was equipped with flashlights and Suzi checked up on us to make sure we were OK. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. The beach is glorious. This was a perfect couples getaway with very few people, which made it easy to disconnect and fully enjoy our vacation! We will most certainly be staying again!

Perfect place in paradise

This house and its location are amazing. It is perfect for a couple’s retreat with everything we needed for a stay in paradise. Communication with the hosts was fast and flawless, and instructions and access were simple. The house comes with towels, beach chairs, beach mats, coolers, and a kitchen with new appliances. We appreciated the hose for rinsing our stuff, too.we could not have had a better spot to call home for 10 days. The house is not fancy - it has an old Hawaii feel - so if you’re looking for a super modern condo experience with AC and a hot tub (did not appeal to us in this climate lol) this might not be the place for you. Also be aware that as of now the last stretch of road before the driveway is extremely rutted - we really put our poor little rental car to the test. If you arrive in the dark or during/after rain, drive REALLY CAREFULLY & SLOWLY - no joke. But we figured it out!We are so grateful for our time in Kauai and that we got to spend it staying in this special place.

Heaven on earth

I've been coming to Kaua'i for 30 years. I used to hitchhike my way around the sleepy island, and getting down to Wanini was always a challenge but worth the trip... Truly sacred land, and to be staying directly across from where I proposed to my wife last year was particularly serendipitous. The furnishings and provisions were dated and scant, but the stay was comfortable and whatever it may seem lacking on the inside, the view and location are simply stunning. PLEASE don't come if you don't respect and appreciate the history and culture of this place. It is truly special and deserves REVERENCE. Maholo nui loa for the stay, and God willing... A hui hou.

Perfection

If you want a getaway where you can spend all day at the beach right outside and truly feel away from it all, this is your place. Decent snorkeling right out front in protected shallow water (you do have to go out pretty far, but it felt very safe in summer), basic nice accommodations including a nice kitchen and outdoor area, but above all privacy, beauty, and steps from the ocean. We enjoyed the wildlife - lizards, frogs, roosters, crabs, community cats - the beach, the jungle, the trees, the views, and the occasional tropical rain. The only slight note is that there is no AC, but just ceiling fans and some box fans. In late August this meant a few hot, sticky humid nights, but honestly if they put in AC it would probably make this rental out of our price range. The history of this family property is also a huge plus - I feel so good that we found this and we will definitely come here again.

If you are thinking about booking this place, do it. The pictures do not do this amazing property justice. Beach views, best snorkeling, No service. It’s literally heaven on earth! . This will be a repeat property for us! Mahalo!!

Great place to stay on the beach. Great snorkeling in the Summer. The wooden interior and Hawaiian decor are very homey and comfortable. We would stay here again and suggest it to anyone who enjoys spending their time on the beach.

Felt like home

We arrived after dark after a long day of travel, and we weren't even sure we had the right place until the combination on the lockbox worked, LOL, but once we stepped into the house we felt any stress melt away. The spaciousness and vibe of the place with the pine paneling reminded me of cabins I grew up with back home in the Adirondacks, and I instantly felt at peace. When we woke up in the morning and could see the view of Anini beach, We knew we had chosen the perfect home for our 25th anniversary trip. The cottage has TONS of space for a one bedroom, and the kitchen is fully appointed for anyone who wants to cook up a beautiful island meal. (I love to cook, and my first reaction was, "Oh, I could cook in this kitchen.") This stretch of Anini Beach is quiet, calm, and shallow. At low tide you could easily walk out 100 yards or more if you wished. We saw several turtles in the shallows while walking the 2 mile beach. The location on the North Shore is ideal, with easy access to Kilauea, the magical town of Hanalei, and the end of the road beaches and parks. We didn't explore Princeville or south to Poipu, because that would involve crowds of people, and this cottage is PERFECT if you wish to have privacy and just enjoy the company you came with. As you make your final approach on Anini Road, remember you didn't come to Kauai for the infrastructure. ;) If we're ever lucky enough to return to Kauai, I wouldn't hesitate to rent "our" cottage again.
