A Serene Vacation is Waiting at The Beach Nest
Nestled in the trees of Kill Devil Hills, Beach Nest is a well-maintained Outer Banks cottage with plenty of space for a great family vacation. If you're looking for the charm of a classic beach box with the convenience of modern amenities, this home is for you! Beach Nest is conveniently located just a short 0.3 miles/5-minute walk to the Atlantic St. lifeguarded beach access.

Outside, you can rinse off in the outdoor shower then sear up some burgers and hot dogs on the charcoal grill. A basketball net near the driveway means hours of outdoor fun for the whole family! A small utility room is located on the ground level where you'll find the washer and dryer along with a spiral staircase that will take you to the main level of the home. Parking is easy and convenient thanks to room for several cars in the carport and driveway.

Upstairs, enjoy having your family all together on one level! The open-floor plan, cathedral ceilings and ceiling fan helps to make the space feel spacious and comfortable, yet relaxing. Gather together in the living area to catch your favorite show on the large flat-screen TV. A fully-stocked kitchen with wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space makes prepping your meal a breeze. The dining table has space for 8 and doubles as the perfect place to play a round of cards or a fun board game!

A Master King Bedroom with attached full bathroom and TV offers a comfortable place to escape at the end of the day. A second King Bedroom and the third bedroom with 1 Bunk Bed and 1 Twin Bed share access to a full bathroom in the hall. The large sun deck wraps around two sides of the home and provides the perfect place to find a sunny spot to sunbathe, take a nap in the sea breeze or enjoy a cold drink while reading a good book. No matter how you like to relax, The Beach Nest can accommodate visitors of all tastes.

The Beach Nest is located close to a variety of shops and local restaurants including Miller's Seafood and Steakhouse, American Pie, Plaza Azteca, Stack 'Em High Pancakes, Pigman's Bar-B-Que and Mama Kwan's Tiki Bar and Grill. Whether you're in the mood for a quick lunch or a chef-prepared seafood feast, you're sure to find a restaurant you'll love! For a day of educational fun, take the family to the Wright Brothers National Memorial where you'll learn about the Outer Banks role in the history of flight. For nature lovers, Nags Head Woods offers scenic trails and plenty of local flora and fauna while Jockey's Ridge State Park allows visitors to see a 360-degree view of the Outer Banks from the tallest living sand dune on the east coast. Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay, the house is in a great location 5 min walking distance from the beach. It was very well equipped, and had everything you need. The only downside was that the fridge has no ice maker so you have to make your own overnight or buy it, and it has no blackouts so be ready for a lot of light from really early in the morning.
