Cute Home in a Quiet OBX Neighborhood
Welcome to Harbour Haven, a charming family-friendly retreat nestled in the quiet Colington Harbour community on the Outer Banks. Tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac, this cozy coastal home offers peace of mind for families with kids and easy access to an array of community amenities. Enjoy access to a soundside park, refreshing community pool, tennis court, boat ramp, and even a sandy soundside beach—perfect for paddleboarding, swimming, kayaking, or watching the sunset while sitting on the beach.

Inside, Harbour Haven features an inviting layout designed for comfort and connection. All three bedrooms are located on the Top Level, including a Full Bedroom, a Bunk Bedroom with twin-over-twin beds and its own TV, and a spacious Queen Master Bedroom with a Private Bathroom and TV. A shared Hallway Bathroom with a shower/tub combo adds convenience for families. These sleeping quarters provide a cozy escape after a day on the water or at the beach.

The Main Level serves as the heart of the home, with a well-equipped Kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, a half bath, a bright and airy Living Area, and a Dining Area perfect for group meals or game nights. Step outside onto the deck, where an outdoor table invites al fresco dining and relaxation in the coastal breeze. A selection of board games in the Living Area adds a classic touch for evening entertainment.

Under the home, guests will find a carport and an under-cottage entertainment area complete with lights and a swing — plus a basketball goal for some friendly competition. Whether you're boating around the sound, building sandcastles at the community beach, or simply enjoying quiet time together on the deck, Harbour Haven offers a welcoming getaway for memory-making in the Outer Banks.

A Celebration of Life by the Water
Every vacation day brings a new reason to celebrate how great life on the Outer Banks can be at Harbour Haven. Located in a beautiful soundside community, you'll love being away from the traffic but still within easy driving distance to great shopping, restaurants and local attractions. Well known as a great spot in the community for outdoor recreation, the whole family can spend the day fishing, crabbing, boating, kayaking, paddleboarding and more. If you don't have any luck fishing, swing by Billy's Seafood Market where you can purchase fresh seafood that just came off the boat so you can whip up a delicious dinner in your rental. As you head towards the bypass, be sure to stop by the Wright Brothers National Monument to learn about the history of aviation. When you're hungry, the Outer Banks Brewing Station is the perfect place to try local craft brews and grab a quick bite to eat. For dinner, try the SaltBox Café for a unique take on local fare or The Colington Café for a fun fine-dining experience.

We had a great time. The house was clean and the living room/kitchen area was very roomy. I would suggest that they add somewhere to put your suitcases in the bedrooms. The master bedroom had an amazing closet with a shelf to put lots of clothes on. There was nowhere to put your toiletries or hair brushes, etc in the bedrooms. Otherwise everything was great!
