“Good location and nice rooms. Bed was comfortable. Beach is walkable and if prepared it is a short walk to a few restaurants. Check in is with a remote kiosk which is interesting but works. Breakfast is very basic.”

“Location was great. Easy access to beach. Kids loved the pool. Building is a bit older and could use some updates. Not bad overall.”

“Great location but accommodations were poor…floors were dirty, shower leaked and pull out sofa was the worst thing ever (dirty sheet covering mattress). Housekeeping was terrible, left $10 tip but when returned to room, tip was gone but nothing was cleaned…no clean towels or linens and trash was not removed.”

“This place needs lots of improvements and help. The room was deluxe king and the layout is good but cheaply built. Bathroom has no where to place any of your bathroom necessities. Pool was not open first day due to failure of inspection but did open next day. The 2nd day of the pool opened it already had no towels. When it had towels 1st day they were just little bigger than a foot towel. Staff wondered around a little but didn’t do much. The poop trash for dogs was overflowing. It’s sad...

“Everything about the Island House was fabulous! The host, Bernie and Kenny are great and prepared wonderful breakfast and snacks, especially the carrot cake with cream cheese icing! The location is good also, conveniently located to everything. We definitely hope to come back soon!🌸”

“There was food under the sofa bed. We had asked for a sofa bed. It was not made up. When they made it up, they didn’t bring a pillow. It was constantly having to remind them about little things. On the second day, we realized there were insects in the room. They came and “fumigated “the room which resulted in us having pesticides on our pillows and our bedsheets and our clothing which made the room smell like pesticides for the remainder of our visit.
