    Questa spaziosa casa offre la planimetria perfetta per le famiglie. L'ingresso senza chiave al piano terra offre un facile accesso alla spaziosa sala giochi con tavolo da biliardo, zona giorno (con divano letto Queen e TV) e wet bar con mini frigo. Un livello su (livello medio) troverete 4 camere da letto (due camere da letto sono padroni con bagno privato e l'altra 2 condividono un bagno in corridoio) così come la vasca idromassaggio sul ponte est. Il livello superiore comprende la cucina completamente attrezzata, soggiorno con HDTV a schermo piatto, camera da letto matrimoniale king, ponti e vista sull'oceano! Dai mazzi di livello superiore puoi salire al nido di corvi per una vista ancora migliore dell'oceano E viste del Wright Brothers Monument!

    Dopo una lunga giornata in spiaggia, amerai risciacquare nella doccia esterna proprio prima di fare un tuffo nella piscina privata! Intorno al ponte della piscina si può prendere il sole sulle sdraio della piscina o godersi una cena all'aperto con l'uso del grill del parco e del tavolo da picnic! C'è un posto auto coperto per una macchina, ma il vialetto scoperto può contenere altre 4 auto. L'accesso alla spiaggia più vicina è a 350 metri a sud di Asheville Street, a meno di 5 minuti a piedi sulla strada per la spiaggia. L'accesso alla spiaggia di Asheville Street è sorvegliato durante la stagione estiva e offre una zona doccia / risciacquo e un parcheggio pavimentato (con parcheggio per disabili).

    Boss's Playhouse è situato nel cuore di Kill Devil Hills a Milepost 7. 5 ed è a pochi passi da ristoranti, negozi e alimentari Food Store! Great vacation spot

Loved most everything about this house, close to the beach and stores and restaurants, on a nice culdesac. The house was very clean and had everything a large family would need for a wonderful vacation! The only drawback is that the decks need some work! I definitely recommend this lovely home!

Great Time but Property Outdated

Location and size of property is great. There are 3 floors…the house gets more outdated with each level. Very old furnishings (chairs, couches, beds) likely from the early 90’s. As a result, they feel dirty and worn. Extremely outdated pictures, lamps, decor…desperately needs refreshing. Old coffee makers, old dishes, old broken blinds…old. Wouldn’t take much to bring this house into the current decade. Overlook balcony needs maintenance! There is no garbage disposal. No modern appliances.

Don't Hesitate!!!

I was a little nervous booking this location for our mini-family reunion due to the mixed reviews. DO NOT EVEN HESITATE!! The Boss' Playhouse is perfect in every way!! We were a family of 4 adult couples (ages 21-65), 3 college kids and one 12 year old (12 people total). There was plenty of space for everyone and despite spending an entire week together, we had enough space to never get on each other's nerves. The house was immaculate, plenty of linens and towels were provided (we paid for the linen service), the pool and hot tub were fabulous (and used every, single day of our weeklong stay!) We walked to the beach every day with no issues (including our 65 year old patriarch, so not sure why people were complaining about the distance to the beach?!) Conveniently located close to plenty of good restaurants to eat at and the grocery store. We will most definitely be returning!

Our Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We did not arrive till late on Saturday. Right off, there were multiple issues: ants in kitchen, kitchen faucet handle was broken off, many lightbulbs were burnt out including carport lights which were needed for keyless entry & 2nd floor master's sliding door lock was broken. On Sunday, I sent an email & left message with no response. Later I called again and spoke to someone who sent someone out same day. He fixed all issues & even left more deck chairs. They offered to have someone come out and spray for ants, but we did not want that chemical smell; so we bought some safe scentless indoor ant spray. The bedrooms were roomy & provided plenty of storage & all bathrooms were clean & worked properly. The lower level provided lots of entertainment with a pool table & comfy couches for movies. The pool and hot tub were great. A gas grill was provided but there was no propane in the tank; we bought some at Lowe's & were promptly refunded. Great location, close to beach access & plenty of room for our family to spread out and enjoy. Wish bath & kitchen towels were provided; so that was an additional $270 charge. Some of the appliances were dated and in dire need of replacement (dryer & dishwasher). Also, would have been nice/considerate if someone would check house between rentals to fix & be aware of issues (door lock not working, multiple burnt-out lights/lamps, no propane, broken faucet, etc). Overall, we had a wonderful time, had great weather, and enjoyed spending family time at the beach.

The ice maker in the kitchen does not make ice very quick and the faucet on the kitchen sink needs to be replaced. It came off in my hand! Just minor things but overall we had a great time. Our family has grown this last year so we are looking for a bigger house.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house layout is great. Location is great. That being said. The maintance was terrible. Downstairs sink leaked. Made the downstairs smell. A smell that would make you gag. It took 2 1/2 days to get this fixed. Plumber never did show up to fix the sink. Pool went green after 2 days there. I cleaned the pool pump filer myself. You can tell it hasn't been taken care of for a while. Hot tub dirty from day one. Toilet seat too small for the toilet. So when you sit down , you sit on the rim(disgusting). Internet wifi took 4 days to figure out. Window by the pool table leaked when it rained. Dishwasher ran for 5 hours, come to find out it was plugged up. Shower drains plugged with hair(nasty, it's called draino). I was VERY dissatisfied for $4000. Maintenance is terrible. The people answering the phone were very nice, but nothing got fixed other than the carpet.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife, our daughters, grandchilderen and great granchildren had a wonderful week staying in Kill Devil Hills at The Boss's Playhouse. The property was very spacious and had plenty of full baths. The kids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The location is very convenient to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The house was tastefully decorated wth a well stocked kitchen for making meals daily. T.V.'s in every bedroom as well as the grand room and the basement complete with a pool table. There is a gas grill as well as a charcoal grill. There is a basketball set up in the driveway. Plenty of off road parking. The entire family (including our two Pugs)thoroughly enjoyed the accomodations at the OBX this year. Will be booking again for next year,

Boss' Playhouse - Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For starters, the home was not ready when we got there. Apparently, cleaning crew quit & just failed to show up. Dirty linens were not picked up & sat outside for days. Many light bulbs didnt work, and there were no working outside lights, so we couldnt enjoy the pool at night. I called to report a clogged drain in 2nd floor master shower. No response. 3rd floor fridge and freezer died on Thursday. Reported 3 times and NEVER fixed. We lost 7 pounds of hamburger, 3 pounds of chicken, and various other frozen convenience foods. We spent 2 days running down to the 1st floor fridge to cook on the 3rd floor. What a pain! Most disappointing is that NO ONE bothered to correct this issue. Doubt we will use this house again. And we will probably use a different rental company moving forward. Not a good experience for the amount of money we paid.
