Una meravigliosa vacanza ti aspetta all'On Island Time, precedentemente Ocean Villa! La posizione ideale di On Island Time mette la spiaggia, i negozi e i ristoranti a pochi passi di distanza; questo è solo uno dei tanti vantaggi di cui godrai in questa casa ben arredata. Questa bella unità dispone di una piscina privata con ampia zona relax e ponti soleggiati e coperti. Altri servizi esterni includono una vasca idromassaggio, doccia esterna chiusa e una comoda zona grill. Al piano terra troverete una sala giochi completa con biliardo, calcio balilla, wet bar e TV. L'ultimo piano è una grande, grande sala aperta con un sacco di finestre e soffitti a volta che danno un'atmosfera molto aperta e ariosa. La grande cucina ben attrezzata e la sala da pranzo si uniscono allo spazio abitativo confortevole per creare un fantastico luogo di ritrovo per le famiglie. This was a beautiful house. The decor was great. It was convenient to the beach and restaurants, etc. The only issue we had was the beds could use some updating. Overall we would definitely stay again.

The kitchen was well stocked. The pool was perfect. There were pool toys, loads of beach chairs, and an umbrella. The pool table was an added bonus. It was a short walk to the beach, and also had beach access parking at the end of the street if we wanted to drive. Lots of restaurants were close by.

My only complaint is that when I booked the vacation last November, I entered and arrival date of July 27th and a departure of August3, a Saturday-to-Saturday vacation. The computer-generated contract was for July 28th to Aug 3 thus cheating me and my family out of a day at the beach. I didn't realize until the Thursday before departing. At first I thought is was a clerical error since the cottages are only rented for a week. When I called and talked to Cassey, she told me that the owner had booked the first night of the week I was attempting to reserve.

Did not request they be repaired or someone come to look at but did call Beach Realty Sunday morning with the list so they knew it was like that when we arrived on Saturday. They were very professional and thanked me for calling. Also, We were close to the main highway which was very noisy early in the morning. Would not rent that close to the main road again. Kill Devil Hills was very enjoyable. Beaches very nice. Also, if we can’t get in until 6p Saturday and must leave by 10a on check out, we should receive a partial refund for a day as we’ve lost a day getting in and then getting out.

It is also very close to the beach. We brought our own line, but beds and furniture were very comfortable. House has plenty of decks all around for soaking up the sun and there are plenty deck and pool furniture to go around. The rental office was very responsive to our calls and were very helpful to correct any complaints (very minor).All the appliances and amenities worked (we didn't try to use the grill though).When the air is still at night there's a faint bad odor by the pool but I think that's coming from the canal.Overall we loved this house and would book again.

On Island Time

The house looked much bigger and cleaner in the pictures. I know this is to be expected, but there was a huge difference. The 3rd level where the kitchen area is had air conditioning that was not working. 2 very small window air conditioners . After roasting the first night they did come out and fix it. Overall I feel I paid 2 much for what I got. Thank You, Vicki Jackson

The kids loved the pool, and it was the perfect size for them. I do think the cleaning crew could have done a better job before we got there. when looking for a lost shoe, I found dried up doughnuts and other food under the couches and beds - we did not bring any of these foods with us, so i know they were there when we arrived. Otherwise, the bathrooms and everything else was clean.

Kill devil hills vacation

It wasn’t a great start to our vacation. The cleaners, if indeed they did come, did a terrible job. Sand and dirt on floor, crumbs on the couch. We were creeped out because of covid I was told it would have a thorough cleaning between rentals. Then the pool was so dirty and wasn’t working. Took a full day of phone calls for them to come and service it. Lastly the rooms were really small. The master bedroom was the smallest and didn’t feel like a master suite at all. The downstairs rooms/play area was so dark and musty smelling I felt bad for my kids staying there. I Honestly think there might be mold growing somewhere. The house needs some serious updating and fixing. I’m guessing when the rental agency took pictures of these rooms in the house they must have brought big lights and used some trick photography. My husband and I felt we paid a lot for this rental and got duped. I wouldn’t recommend this rental.

Very charming and well kept vacation home rental

My family really enjoyed this vacation home, "On Island Time", except for the weather, rained everyday except for the last full day (9-15 June 2020). It was better than could be imagined and looked like new, just like the pictures. The pool and hot tub were really nice and enjoyed lots of use, even on the rainy days. The only minor think we noticed, was the last tenants hadn't cleaned the grill.

Was disappointed it took so long to check in. Seemed like the rental was ready early but we had to wait hrs to get in. We were told they were waiting for the inspector to inspect the rental and she/he never did come. Tv in living room was broken. Wasn’t til Wednesday that the tv was replaced. Pool area could use some tidying and umbrellas for shade. Area where outside shower and hot tub are located could use some cleaning. Cigarettes on the ground etc Refrigerator doesn’t make ice very quickly

Great Home But Room for Improvement

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the spaciousness of and amenities provided by this house. The pool was in constant use as well as the rec room and living room. We also made use of the grill and hot tub. The house is also within walking distance to some nice restaurants, bars, and the beach. Something else we found useful was the mini fridge down in the wet bar — it was a bit of a struggle to fit enough food for a week for nine people in the fridge upstairs. However, the house was not exactly clean when we arrived including dust on the dressers and cobwebs in corners. The couch in the living room definitely needs replacing as we were sinking almost to the floor in some spots. The queen beds did NOT feel like queens — we have queens at home and found ourselves practically sleeping on top of each other because the beds were so small. As you descended the stairs from top to bottom, when you made it to the last platform before the ground level, you’d start to smell an unpleasant smell and there were drain flies on the ground floor. The outdoor shower was nice, but the water pressure left something to be desired and I’m told the showers indoors had a similar problem, I did not use them though. When we got to the property and noticed the firehouse across the street, we thought that might be a problem. But it really wasn’t and we barely noticed it throughout the week. Overall it was definitely a great house and a great vacation, but we hope the new owners take the time to make some improvements.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been using beach realty for vacation rentals for quite a few years and never had any problems thus far. However this year we were a little disappointed. The house itself was relatively fine but we encountered just one problem. We arrived to find someone had broken the glass table that was outside by the pool.The glass was left in a bucket warning us to watch for pieces which might be by the pool. We relayed this information to young man who was the inspector for the house he told us it would probably be replaced and someone would get back to us. We never heard from anyone and when we called back to see if the table would be replaced we were rudely told “we’re not replacing it”. We were put off because we weren’t able to eat outside and elderly members of our group were not comfortable sitting by the pool without a table. Almost every member received slivers of glass in their feet because the glass was not completely cleaned up. I think this problem could have been better remedied and because of the lack of resolution I may consider using a different rental company for my future vacations. Please also note that quite a few of the outdoor chairs are broken especially the ones on the balconies.

Fabulous stay at Ocean Villa

It was clean and worked out great for our family of 7. I did get tired of all the stairs, but would certainly still recommend this cottage to friends. The top floor kitchen and family room were large with plenty of space for visitors. Our favorite restaurant was the Black Pelican. We enjoyed our hike up Jockey's Ridge, the marine resource center in Manteo, as well as the Wright Brother's monument. We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach and a week with perfect weather.

Rental ok..updates would help

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first trip to the OBX. Had we know what we know now we would have rented a different property. The house needs some updating, especially the outside areas. A few plastic chairs thrown out on the balconies does not make for a relaxing place to sit. It would have been nice to have some shade out by the pool area. The beach in the area we stayed was crowded and narrow. On the flip side the reality company was very easy to work with..would rent with them again, just in a different house and location.
