The lighting in the room we stayed in was insufficient. The light over the shower was out/didn't work, and although there was a small sofa to sit on, there was no lighting anywhere near it - so you couldn't sit on it and read, for example. The towels were old and literally shed pieces on you, when you used them to dry off. Although it was nice to sit on the porch outside our room, it was overlooking a busy road. So all in all, I don't think it was worth the money I spent.

We were in the Pier Breeze room. Suggest putting a bedside table with a lamp that has plug ins, between the beds. Also one of the slats in the shades is broken.

The area (not the owner's fault) has heavy traffic and is not pleasant. The beach is nice. The living area has roomy rooms and the stay was pleasant. The "breakfast" is Continental in style and is mediocre. The owner seems nice, but overall, its only OK. Inexpensive, though, and it should be.

Good location, comfortable room, complimentary wine a d snacks for happy hour. Not a sit down cooked breakfast. All wrapped items:cereal, yogurt, pop tarts, etc. no milk. Everything was fine.

The location was great - right across the street from the ocean. However, the house needed an update. Paint was chipping off the walls and the carpet was dirty. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable and there was no place to sit and read nor a table to put a book or drink on to relax. It did have a nice balcony, but it overlooked the neighbor's pool.

The bed and breakfast was very convenient to the beach and was very nice accommodations. The problem with the property was the roaches we found. One I actually discovered crawling on me while asleep.

The house itself was great. The room I was ik stunk really bad, it smelled like wet dog. It was gross! The parking sucked - not enough parking spots for the amount of cars parked there during my stay. I got back one night during my stay and couldn’t park without blocking other guests vehicles. Outside of that, it was great. Great location, good amenities.

Cute B&B for Couples
The owner is super nice - we had a TV issue and he was on top of it. They left out snacks and wine every day for happy hour and there were pop tarts, granola bars, etc type of stuff for breakfast in the morning along with coffee and juice. Steps from the beach. Great place to stay as long as you like people - you'll run into/hear other guests.

We were asked at checkin if we knew which room we were to be in. As we had not entered through the front door we had missed the letter taped to front door spelling out room info. We were put in a much smaller room than that letter spelled out. He said he had filled out the letter incorrectly, I'm not sure we weren't put in the wrong room. The room we were in was fine, just very small with 2 beds in a space meant for 1 bed. Overall, an ok experience for our first b&b

We do have other rooms and suites available with more space for not that much more money, but the room you stayed in is one of the smaller standard size rooms, as described and pictured in listing details. Thanks!

Good, bad and a little ugly....
I definitely have mixed feelings about our stay. The good: Great location, pet friendly (most guests have dogs so you really MUST love dogs to stay there.) Nice small pool, very clean. The bad: It's not really a Bed and Breakfast, or not what you would expect. There is no sign out front for this facility, it's just a beach house with four bedrooms for rent. There is a shared living room/kitchen and porch on the ground floor, but no common areas other than that. Also, breakfast is self-prepare and self-serve, very basic pop-tarts, granola bars, cereal etc. If you're accustomed to a full breakfast at a B&B, this will disappoint you. The UGLY: As we were packing up to leave, the owner (who lives on the top floor) told us we could have late checkout. Which was very nice.... except as I was getting out of the shower and my daughter was getting dressed, HE OPENED UP THE DOOR TO OUR ROOM. No knocking, no calling out, he just opened the door like he lived there. Which I guess he thinks is OK, because he offered no apology. I slammed the door as quickly as I could to preserve what was left of our privacy, we loaded the car and we left. In a real hotel or professional establishment, the staff understand that you always knock first. We won't be going back.

I am sorry you were disapointed with breakfast food, but if you were expecting an on-site cook to prepare a hot meal for you, you must not know the meaning of continental breakfast as described in listing. As for owner opening door to your room, the key was already in the door outside your room which is our queue that you've left and the room is ready to be serviced, as described in house instructions you were provided. Sorry for the misunderstanding, but there was no ill will intended.
