Nostalgia for the Past - Amenities of the Present, “The Peelican Roost” has what you are looking for. Full of memories of lazy, sun filled days and cool, star filled nights, the Peelican Roost is the perfect place to create your own beach memories.

This cozy oceanfront property is full of the "Old Nags Head" charm but with modern amenities. Located in Kill Devil Hills, “The Peelican Roost” greats you with rocking chairs and a hammock swing on the screened front porch; perfect for relaxing with a book in the view of the Wright Memorial. The interior is knotty pine throughout and includes a spacious family room with electric fire place and large “Smart" TV, and a table for playing games or putting together puzzles. The kitchen has every utensil you will need as well as updated appliances.

There are 5 bedrooms in the house and a detached, ground level bedroom with half bath; perfect for the Mother-In-Law or teenager that needs their own space. Every bedroom has a flat screen TV. The “kids” room with bunk beds has a PS2 game station and larger 32” flat screen TV. WiFi keeps you connected to the rest of the world and Netflix and other streaming services can be accessed with the den TV.

Owner supplied beach chairs await your days on the beach. Swings, corn hole and a basketball goal offer endless hours of outdoor play. One of the best features of this house is the enormous, partially covered oceanfront deck with lounge chairs, a gas grill, and picnic table…all with direct beach access!

The Peelican Roost is just steps to the ocean, and a short drive to all the excitement and history the Outer Banks have to offer.
