  • Godetevi questo Whiffletree 3 Bedroom completamente rinnovato, 2 bagni completi nel cuore del Killington Resort (un livello). TV a schermo piatto nuovissimo in tutte le camere e zona soggiorno! I condomini Whiffletree si trovano in posizione centrale nel cuore dell'area del bacino principale di Killington. In inverno, una navetta gratuita porta al rifugio base Snowshed, a solo 1/2 miglio di distanza e godetevi l'accesso alla "casa delle piste" a condizione che ci sia neve naturale. Questa proprietà ha tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno in una struttura per le vacanze sciistiche, con PC desktop in unità già collegato a Internet per il tuo uso, stampante con funzionalità fax, webcam per chat online, lettore CD / radio con adattatore IPod. jack conveniente per collegare la propria PS3 o Nintendo Wii. chef di cucina completamente attrezzata, un camino a gas e WiFi !!! Ma è tutta una questione di location, location, location! Non solo siete vicino alla montagna, hai ragione nel bel mezzo dell'azione per la famigerata vita notturna di Killington. Pros: - Very convenient location as it’s on the shuttle - Warm and good for our group of 6 people- Smooth check in check out process and good communication - Good sized kitchen with full sized oven and dishwasherCons: - You can hear everything (people sneezing, walking on stairs, neighbour dog that barks in the AM, when the other bathroom is used) so bring ear plugs if you’re a medium or light sleeper- Toiletries provided aren’t great (they give tiny bars of soap that are meant to be used interchangeably in the shower and as hand soap which is really awkward if you’re sharing with people that are not family)

Disappointed

Wr chose this unit based on photos, the description and reviews. We were quite disappointed and shocked with some of the reviews given the condition of the unit. I believ the photos are old and, in hindsight, very blurry. In fact, the unit and furniture are very worn - dirty walls, mildewy showers, stained ceilings, saggy sofa, rock solid beds, etc. I do many VRBOs and have never had such a poorly kept unit. Other reviews said it was a great location. It was “okay” but the shuttle wasn't even running during the week so we had to drive to the mountain one day. To be fair and complete, the property management (reservations and reminders) were helpful and the unit’s linens were clean but would never stay here again.

the check in person was very rude and deceiving.

the property was a little outdated in the bathroom areas around the shower was filled with mold and mildew. it was adequate but very overpriced. will not stay there again. only if there's nothing else available. again it was adequate but nothing special. no hot tubs either that was a lap down.

Comfortable Unit, Convenient Location

We were disappointed that we couldn't get the fireplace working and the unit could use refreshing--particularly the kitchen. But, all in all, a nice place to stay.

Killington family weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Wiffletree, unit I-3. From reading online there is quite a bit of difference between the different Wiffletree units. We stayed in unit I-3 and enjoyed it. We had two couples and 3 teenage kids, which was cozy, but worked out well. The place was very clean. It was definitely not the fanciest of places to hang out, but it provided everything we needed -- which was a clean, well-appointed and well-located place so we could be there to ski. We did have one issue with the shower draining, but we called the after-hours "emergency" line and someone came out right away and without hesitation to get it addressed. The management group there was great -- this is our second time using them. Always so helpful and interested in finding us a good fit for our needs. The unit is extremely well located, just a mile or so from the ski lifts. We drove several days, but there we also took advantage of the shuttle, which is very close nearby. One small thing is that we have only a two-wheel drive minivan, so we were challenged a few times getting the car up the steep drive to the main road -- but ultimately was successful each time. If this makes you nervous, something to think about having a 4-wheel drive car for the job. At the end of the day, I wouldn't have minded something a little larger and more luxurious, but this place did the job for the price we were willing to spend. If I were to go back to Wiffletree, this is the unit I would get again.

Condo was great location, very close to the mountain. pictures were very accurate to condition of unit. Living room is small but cozy with the gas fireplace.
