Killington Sun Dog Trail ski-on ski-off 2 bedroom 2 bathroom 1st floor condo

Best Spring skiing in the East! Enjoy a family ski vacation in our spacious 2 bedrooms 2 bath condo. Experience a true ski-on ski-off location only steps away from the Sun Dog trail. As of 01/13/24 the Sunrise triple chair lift is open! Beginners can ski without having to purchase a lift ticket. You can ski all morning then stop for lunch at the condo and avoid the crowds in the lodge. The kitchen is well equipped to enjoy home-cooked meals. Cozy up to the fire and read a book, play board games or enjoy apres-ski drinks. Enjoy all the amenities at the Sunrise Sports Center that houses the indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and fully equipped gym. The outdoor hot tub is open 4:30-8:30 PM Friday and Saturday. Complimentary snowshoe, cross-country skiing, skating and sledding are available at Outback at Falls Brook.
Please be aware that the Sun Dog Trail is dependent on natural snow fall and snow making capability. Factors like global warming and the COVID-19 pandemic affecting normal operations of the ski resort are out of our control. Please double check the Killington app, booking dates and anticipated snowfall since ski-on ski-off cannot be guaranteed. Until the Sunrise Lift starts turning, Killington is offering a free shuttle service from the Falls Brooks Common to the Bear, Snowshed and Ramshead lodges. The service begins at 7am and the last shuttle leaves at 5pm. The buses will run every 15 minutes. The Bear Lodge is a 3-minute drive away and a very convenient starting point to enjoy the Beast of the East.

This condo was a great fit for two couples, all friends, traveling to ski/snowboard. We parked right in front. We walked 30 feet from the back door to riding down the trail. We had a really warm weekend last week and still plenty of snow for this to still very reliably be ski in/out. The Sunrise Common building was easy to locate with friendly staff. We used the indoor hot tub and pool. We ran out of energy but the outdoor hot tub was available too. Of note, but not in the description is how generous this host is with items usually missing or not provided in a unit. Plenty of paper towels, coffee filters, dishwasher and laundry detergent, etc.

The house is perfect in the Skiing ski out is exceptionally easy. Place is very clean and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need.. Siobhan the host is exceptionally nice and contacted us two or three times to make sure everything was perfect. Would highly recommend.

Amenities were spot on. This condo is in a great shape and location is easy ski on/off. Kids had a good time at nearby sports club (sauna, steam, hot tub, etc.)We had everything we need and more. Fireplace was perfect as we built a fire every night. Excellent spot for family of 4/5.

We had a fantastic stay! We were two adult couples, and we loved hanging out near the fireplace, the extras like a nice bottle of wine, a full supply of coffee pods and some helpful toiletries. There was plentiful comfortable seating in the livingroom and a spacious dining room. The beds and bedding were comfortable.But most of all, we loved the friendliness and helpfulness of our host Siobhan, and the amazing slopeside access to skiing. Not having to schlep ski gear to the base, find parking, store possessions, etc. makes the whole trip hassle free!Highly recommend for a stay during ski season!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The place was beautiful and clean. The location was great with easy access to the slopes. What stood out was how many attention to detail amenities there were. From extension cords at the bed so you could reach an outlet to charge to a basket of "extras" in case you forgot something. We enjoyed having the instant pot to make soup for a quick grab and go lunch while skiing. Thank you for sharing you place!

Host was great. Easy access in and out of condo. Pillows were flat and a small live cockroach was seen in side condo. Place was a bit drafty. Could use an over update. Although, it was accommodating.

The condo was perfect for us. They had so many nice touches like extra supplies in case you had forgotten something. It was great to have ski in ski out access to the Sun Dog trail too. Just a wonderful experience overal!

Everything we needed

We stayed here mid March with our family of 4. Kitchen was well stocked and outfitted with everything we needed to cook. Access to the pool / hot tub was great for the kids and adults! We enjoyed being able to ski right in and out.

This place was incredibly welcoming with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. We've been visiting Killington for years, but this was our first time on this side of the mountain, and we were thoroughly impressed. The property was so clean and comfortable, equipped with everything we could possibly need. Every detail was attended to, from the high-quality linens, comfy beds and furnishings, and supplies. The host really cares about the quality of your experience. The ski in/ski out was amazing! We look forward to staying here again for our next family visit!---

Great Place

Amazing place

This apartment is more than its description on the website.It’s amazing, in such a lovely area. It had everything you need, well stocked with essentials for your stay. It’s all the little touches, like plenty of coffee, salt & pepper, paper napkins. The only one thing that would make it perfect would be a toaster, we weren’t at one with the grill.
