Guy, thank you for your honest feedback. We did take a look at the fireplace the next day but could not fix it. We have been trying to get a service tech out, but everyone is booking weeks out. We have found someone but waiting for a date to take a look. The listing does state that the bedrooms are a set of stairs down into the basement. We are stoked, that everything else was great for you and please do not hesitate to reach out to us for your next visit. We did send out a link to "Know before you Go" upon booking but apologies that you were unaware of the lift situation. We have been moving bookings, giving credit and refunding guests when they called with a concern. We are soooooooo glad, that you came and made the most of it. To be honest, we feel the guests that have stayed this winter have really had a memorable stay. We are so pleased that you found "exactly what you were looking for".
