  • Questa è una grande casa situata a 500 metri dalla West Mountain Chair nella parte superiore del Sandy River Circle che si affaccia sulla catena montuosa Bigelow e le Crocker Bowls. Scia nella tua porta sul retro attraverso una radura privata al largo della torre 18.! C'è un meraviglioso camino dove sedersi o guardare mentre si cucina in cucina. Una grande casa in cui trascorrere le tue vacanze. C'è una vasca idromassaggio fuori dalla camera matrimoniale e una doccia a vapore per 2 persone. Puoi prendere la navetta proprio di fronte alla casa ogni 20 minuti o camminare per 500 metri fino all'ascensore.

We loved this ski house! Plenty of space for our big group. It was easy to get to on the west mountain, and super easy to take the shuttle to the base of the mountain! We would stay here again.

Great views- cozy and private

It was a cold week at The Loaf, but we kept the fire roaring and enjoyed the quiet serenity.Plenty of space, the shuttle bus picks up at the end of the driveway, which is awesome.

Twentieth family ski weekend

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The space allows for many conversations, the views are spectacular and the property manager was responsive. This was our second year and hope to stay again next year.

The house was wonderful, the pictures online do not do it justice! It was absolutely wonderful to get away for a long family ski weekend. The host was fantastic with communication with an easy check in / check out process as well as a pristine property.

Christmas Ski Vacation

This rental was very spacious, comfortable and convenient. The shuttle pick-up and drop-off was close to the house. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were all good sized. The kitchen/dining area was set up well and was also very spacious. We had plenty of room to spread out and would not hesitate to rent this property again.

Sugarloaf Marathon Trip

The accommodations were perfect and the owner was very responsive. We stayed for the night before sugarloaf marathon, which was a perfect location near the sugarloaf base lodge. It seems like it would also be a perfect location for skiing in the winter. Thanks Jill!

Great spot for a group

We enjoyed the property, easy access to Sugarloaf. We had a group of 9 and plenty of beds and space to relax. We stayed mid week so we couldn’t ski on to the nearby lift because it wasn’t running but could back, if needed. Nice fireplace and open kitchen living area.

Gorgeous house and location!

What an amazing place to stay! The house was gorgeous. We just had a snow storm and it was so cozy to snuggle in at the fire place and play games. The shuttle literally was right there for us to get to the mountain. The owner was so great and communicating and the house literally had everything we would need. Our family would absolutely book again!

Great stay

We had an amazing time at the cottage. It is very user friendly and right off the west mountain. Unfortunately the chair was closed but we could skin to the top from the cottage. Very confortable for a party of 11 friends, would highly recommend.

Great stay at Sugarloaf

We are a group of eight 70-year-old class of 1973 high school ski buddies on our 24th consecutive annual 'skiunion'. This year's event was at Sugarloaf & Saddleback, and this huge, well-equipped house served our needs perfectly. We had a great stay, watched the superbowl, cooked three big dinners, and generally had a blast. I recommend this property with five stars!

Great House in a Great Location

We stayed here for two nights for ski races. The house was spacious for 11 athletes and coaches and very well appointed. Super kitchen and the ACTUAL wood fireplace was ready to go when we got there. Will certainly return!

Nice home. Comfortably accommodated 10 guys for a golf trip. Good kitchen. Everything worked as advertised other than Wi-Fi, which was no big deal for us. Prompt communication from owner.

Perfect landing after hike in the Bigelows

This spacious and comfortable home accommodated our two families perfectly. After two days of hiking in the Bigelow range we were ready for some relaxation. The spacious kitchen was roomy enough for multiple cooks to work easily. The living space had ample, comfortable furniture.The variety of bedroom configurations served our two families with adult children and their partners perfectly. The generous size dining table allowed us to enjoy meals together and those who longed for more outdoor time took advantage of the deck space. Exceptional place for family or friend groups traveling to this gorgeous part of Maine.

Spacious house on mountain

Overall the house was great. We had plenty of room to spread out and came well stocked with all the essentials and then some. Had spices, and some extra odds and ends from prior renters which was helpful! When we were there, there was logging happening on west mountain so can’t speak to the ski in but shuttle is convenient. We had some trouble with the heat and the owner was quick to reply and give us instructions. Overall would stay here again.

Carrabassett Maine lodge

It was a very nice visit. Beds are VERY comfortable! Choosing to rent a ski lodge in August means your not likely to have a mowed lawn, if you are looking to do outdoor activities (which we were NOT, so it didn’t matter to us) be aware of this. Kitchen wrap (cling wrap or baggies) would have been helpful! We would bring these next time. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Bad Weather, Great Host

We had the unfortunate situation of a wind storm coming through, knocking out power, and resulting in frozen pipes, aka no heat. This could have ended our vacation but Jill, the host, was great. They drove up a bunch of firewood and had plumbers there to address the issue immediately
