“Very friendly front desk, offering tips of the area around! Great place for a family. Rustic but modern. Room service daily upon request. We had our five year-old grandson and he loved all the facility had to offer. The pool and hot tub could’ve been a little cleaner, but we realize with all the trees in the area, that is a challenge. Still very enjoyable. Great little town, glad that it is still not as commercialized as South Tahoe.”

“This property is a great location with lots to do for the whole family! The beach was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My unit was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was the floors could be mopped a bit better. Overall, I would stay again ”

“We have stayed at this property many times! It is in such a beautiful location. Disappointed that they are undergoing a renovation and replacing The Lone Eagle Grill with another upscale restaurant! Pros: Excellent check-in, room was very clean and spacious, pool was warm and welcoming. Cons: Cutthroat’s food was so-so, coffee at Cafe was awful! We didn’t go the beach either, but were offer free shuttle service to neighboring beaches. Hyatt beach is closed because of restaurant renovations!...

“This one of the best hotel rooms I've ever stayed at. The decorating was just our style, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom perfect for our needs. If we'd stayed longer, we'd have definitely used the kitchen for a meal or two. ”

“Cleanliness was good, but upkeep of the premises is concerning. Roof needs cleaning of debris, flashings are missing, broken items are stashed at the side of the building and can be seen from some tables, covers on electrical mechanisms are missing, carpet is old and dirty in entrance area, etc. Going out of business soon? It would be a shame as it is a lovely place. Owners need to spruce it up.”

“Options can be limited in this area if you want to stay within walking distance, with the average nightly price being relatively high. Red Wolf offers a lovely room with a very comfortable bed for a lot less cost per night. We will definitely return for another stay. ”
