The village is renowned for its beautiful beaches, including the famous west-facing Heacham Beach, one of the few places in the UK where visitors can watch the sun set over the sea. Norfolk Lavender, England’s premier lavender farm, is just a short distance away and offers beautiful gardens, shops and cafés. Nature lovers will enjoy visiting the nearby RSPB Snettisham Reserve, internationally recognised for its spectacular birdlife and seasonal wildlife events.
