Thew room was spacious , tasteful and well equipped. The bed was a large and the duvet large enough for 2 people which isn't always the case. “A really tranquil and well thought out hotel. Great little touches like including an anniversary card in the room for us, and extra amenities in the spa. The staff were friendly and polite, the food was good quality. “Very comfortable room, nice clean bathroom. The walls are a bit thin though so we could hear other neighbours, although everyone was asleep at night so no problem to sleep at all. The location of the hotel is great, it is a bit out of the town, in the middle of the valley. The garden is amazing and you can walk to the well a bit far down and to the town itself. The breakfast was very generous and varied.”

“Ive stayed here a few times. The rooms are really nice but it's the second time I've stayed out of about 4 times where the linen/towels have not been clean. I came to replace the towels by ultimately had to give up due to needing to leave. The room wasnt ever refreshed for the next night stay. For the price (I paid about £400 for 2 days) it dosent really ever match up with the service, everything is too much trouble. Ive given it a few chances but there always seems to be so many friction...

“I think we had the smallest room at the hotel with a dog! We arrived at the hotel straight from the beach and while my husband was in the shower we discovered no towels were in the room. I had to go down two floors (lift broken!) just for staff to tell me sorry no towels available while they wait for their linen delivery. “Great location with spectacular views. Short walk to beach. Food adequate. EV charging is a bit of a lottery. Cars parked by the chargers but not plugged in and obviously staff struggled to find the offenders so that the chargers could actually be used. Great for families and dogs!”

“Just not very good, reasonable price but not really budget or bargain, Great location next to the train, Great Western beach and Pub, Just not a very good hotel. The single room is tiny with a tiny bed and looks more like a student doss house. No air con, fan doesn't work, no lift to the 3rd floor. Staff often not available at all, has a chintzy looking restaurant in the front but no idea what or if they serve, so many better places to eat, or stay for that matter. Tired.”
